Attorney General Jeff Sessions January 4th memo regarding marijuana enforcement is historic... and it should promptly be consigned to the dustbin of history. Mr. Session’s very name is a history lesson. Like his father and grandfather, he was named after Jefferson Davis, the first and only president of the Confederacy and P.G.T. Beauregard, the first prominent general of the Confederate Army. These were the men who lead the people of Alabama in their desire and purpose to join the “slave-holding
Senator Calls Out Big Pharma For Opposing Legal Marijuana
A prominent Democratic U.S. senator is slamming pharmaceutical companies for opposing marijuana legalization.
"To them it's competition for chronic pain, and that's outrageous because we don't have the crisis in people who take marijuana for chronic pain having overdose issues," Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York said. "It's not the same thing. It's not as highly addictive as o
Patients and Caregivers are discriminated upon in many facets of life, be it employment, housing, education, student loans, banking, travelling, medical care, prescription medical care, parental rights... and in this case, Emergency Medical Care!
My client is a Michigan Medical Marijuana patient who was having an emergency. An ambulance picked him up, and against his hospital preference, the ambulance took him to the U of M Ann Arbor Hospital.

LANSING, MI - It was chilly on the morning of Dec. 15., but Michigan State Police stood outside a state office building. They were there for safety, ready, as the Bureau of Medical Marihuana Regulation opened its doors, for some applicants to show up with the $6,000 application fee in cash.
Michigan lawmakers authorized a new medical marijuana industry in 2016, and the state began accepting applications to be a part of it on Dec. 15, 2017. But businesses seeking inclusion

Medical marijuana patient Bob Crouse acquitted: Another wasteful prosecution?
“Good things happen when juries get to hear the truth. In Michigan you hear one of the biggest adversities for patients and caregivers is that they are being precluded from arguing a medical marihuana defense before a jury. If you can get over the fact that, this
I Just smoked, my desription of how I feel at this moment;

Think you're in the clear to rely on just a certification or recommendation and employ the affirmative defense after the recent Sup Ct opinions in King and Kolanek? Thing again!
If that is your plan, to rely on your certification or recommendation, then you may be in for some trouble and a rude awakening. So let's clear this up so you make an informed decision.
First off, if you don't have a card and are relying on your certification only then plan on being arrested. Plan on spending up
I am getting sick of the fear and stigma I am hearing over HB4834. I agree medical information should be kept confidential, however in circumstances where the sharing of our information is beneficial to us as patients should be permitted. We are protected to grow and consume cannabis by state law. I personally don't care if any police officer knows I am a medical patient. That is not something I should be afraid to share or ashamed of. That is part of the problem, to many people care to much abo

John Wells suffered a house fire last Tuesday. He and his wife and their young daughter have lost everything.
The fire was started within their refrigerator. They have little support and are truly in need of help, living out of their fifth wheel behind the burned out hulk of their home until their homeowners insurance rebuilds it.
Insurance will not cover any additional expenses at this time and gas and other expenses are mounting. I am posting to ask the community to lend their support.

Last night I was gaming and a thought crossed my mind.
An old friend had mentioned years ago when my father had passed away from cancer that a cure had been found.
He went on to tell me that the DEA and leo had arrested the man and took everything.. all of his research.
I ask a few questions and got sketchy information. Today I realize what he was referring to. Yes it was cannabis.
My thoughts follow a natural course to a question: When did the drug companies know that cannabis kills canc

Wednesday, June 20, 2012
I have never considered myself a Conservative, but Jim Forthsythe's comments below in this article caught my attention and are great arguments to be made in any debate regarding medical cannabis.
"(1) Illness doesn't discriminate based on political ideology or party affiliation. Many patients involved in this effort are conservative Republicans who are battling cancer,

There's good news and bad news from the Oregon Cannabis Tax Act, OCTA 2012. The good: OCTA has received the endorsement and support of Oregon's largest private sector union, the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 555, and their 18,000-plus members. On Thursday, June 14, UFCW Local 555's board of directors voted unanimously to endorse the Oregon Cannabis Tax Act initiative.

Controversial Technique Increases Marijuana Yields... But At What Cost?
June 13, 2012, San Francisco, Ca - Medical marijuana is fast becoming a valuable cash crop as the plant known as Cannabis Sativa becomes accepted across the United States for medical uses like the treatment of cancer, AIDs, depression, anxiety, and many other ailments with few other effective treatments available. Medical Marijuana was recently legalized in the 17th state, Connecticut, and there are many more states with

Just Because You Don’t Smoke Cannabis Doesn’t Mean You Shouldn’t Support Legalization
Every once in awhile I will be talking to a non-marijuana consumer, and they will tell me that the only reason they don’t support marijuana legalization is because they don’t smoke it. A common phrase I hear them say is, ‘Why would I care about something that doesn’t affect me?’ The fact of the matter is, marijuana prohibition affects us all to some extent, whether we consume cannabis or not.

Yes I agree its wise to just not medicate in your vehicle. If they smell burnt product your getting a DWI. Here in Grand Rapids we still don't have legal access for meds. Just proves once this state gets their hands on things its been total chaos & corruption & a huge shortage on tested meds.

It's good you quit smoking cigarettes, they are probably why you got tongue cancer.

Well not sure if it's ok if I post here because I'm from Florida, But any how I'm 60 yrs old and back on December 17 2017 I found out I had cancer on my tongue Verrucous squamous cell carcinoma is the type of cancer a very slow growing so i had a pet scan to see if it had spread and found out that it did not and that is was very condensed to that spot on the front of my tongue so my ear nose and throat specialists cut out about 2"x 1 1/2" of my tongue out and there was a pathologist right there
He's been standing on the shoulders of all the folks who have come before him that actually did something. He, Rick Simpson, just made a sloppy mess of an extraction and pretended he invented something. Then to most of the real folks dismay, he put his name on it and it stuck. Ego maniac in the medical marijuana closet, I'll give him that.
