I'm tellin' ya brother that hydro id a freaky way to grow plants, and very time consuming to get it right. And the hard thing is, each strain takes different ways, and strengths of nutes. Some strains do not respond to hydro at all!

I have tried hydro, and yes it does have it's benefits, but it has great dissapointments too. I quit with all that expensive fancy stuuf, and went into organic soil. First of all, all my seedlings, and plants are thriving every time w/o the hassle of too much - or not enough nutes.

I now use a 50/50 mix of Fox Farm Happy Frog, and FF Ocean Forest. Go to my gallery and check it out. Good luck my friend, and maybe you will get it one day....
