boroboro Posted May 26, 2010 Report Share Group shot May 26. A bit concerned about droopiness and yellow leaves. From here it looks underfed. Same nute recipe has worked well in the past in coco. Are the plants that much hungrier being under 2000W instead of 400W? Should nutes be ramped up because of the additional light? Current nutes are GH hardwater micro 6ml / gallon and GH bloom 9 ml / gallon, also 6ml / gallon Cal-Mag first two weeks (more or less the 'Grateful H3ad recipe' from icmag.com). environment: 2x1000W HPS in air cooled hoods, circulating and exhaust fans, air conditioner, plant level temp around 78-80F and 25-40% humidity. Temps did rise into the mid-80s for a week, before I ramped up the AC capacity. Could the droopiness and branching be due to heat? Quote Link to comment
boroboro Posted July 19, 2010 Report Share edit for historical clarity: It turns out that my problem here was incorrect ph measurement. Plants were getting fed at 6.5-6.7 ph, when they would be much happier at 5.8-6.0. I ended up buying a better ph meter, adjusting my nute mix, and plants became much happier. Quote Link to comment
