Glad to hear you are still around, Enjoy the summer and I'm looking forward to more of your posts in the fall.

  3. :) thanks man! sorry, i'll most likely be back in the winter time. this spring/summer has been very busy for me. not much time for the pc. street level activism is a busy job. :) hope you all keep up the good work on the web level :) peace - free the weed!
  4. Where have you been? Miss your words of wisdom.

  6. hey philanthropy i just wanted to say thank you for taking time to answer my question.

  7. when a thread sits and no one posts on it, it ends up on the bottom of the list, and no one sees it.

so if someone wants to bring it back to life, they type bump and it ends up on the top

  8. thanks garfield. i will give that a try.
  9. here is a problem thats driving me bonkers and making it difficult to keep track of the threads i'm engaging in: step 1) click on my profile step 2) click "find posts" to the left side of screen problem, threads are randomly shown over and over and over.... i may see the same thread appear 10 times... can we fix this so i don't have so many pages of posts on my "find posts" page?
  10. why post? you pose the question, i'll provide my opinion. because the people who are new, the people who haven't lit up in 20-30 years because of probition and are now the people who have never cultivated the people who haven't read the law the people who wonder... these people need answers. you can provide them with some. they need you to post. we need you to post! xoxoxo
  11. you didn't lose 1/3 of your card time. u had your paperwork. "Section 9b If the department fails to issue a valid registry identification card in response to a valid application or renewal submitted pursuant to this act within 20 days of its submission, the registry identification card shall be deemed granted, and a copy of the registry identificaton application or renewal shall be deemed a valid registry identification card." -Michigan Medical Marihuana Act - Sec 9 thats why it its date of issue is dec 30. 20 days after the 10th when it was signed by the doc. u were legal on dec 30 to grow, buy, have, use. in fact if it goes bad on the 1st, then they auctually gave you 1 extra day for free! the state should send you a renewal application 2 months before your card expires. you have to get a recommendation signed by a doctor again, and resubmit it. since they cant get us our cards on time as defined by law, i doubt they will issue renewals in a timely fashion as well. so, if you carry a copy of your renewal form with your old card (u dont HAVE to carry old card) u ARE covered until a new card arrives. 15. That makes me assume that their top priority is opening envelopes, checking to see if the paperwork is correct, taking the check, cashing it, and then putting it into a pile. I assume that the processing of these piles and use of the machine to print cards take secondary priority to opening and cashing checks... what else would we expect from unwatched government? lol no but really check out the link in the politics section about the state house oversight committee meeting on the 15th. it will let you know that they are working on it. i guess thats some type of victory. lets hope they don't drag their feet, they sound like they are pretty serious, only giving the software company 5 days to test their software. i do worry a bit about privatizing this system, but the company that is getting the opportunity already has their software system implemented processing the California MMJ program. So I they get a few +reps in my opinion for that. http://www.michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/index.php?/topic/17510-house-oversight-committee-4-15-10/page__p__152937__fromsearch__1entry152937
