Yes, we have a few commercial / industrial building where it looks like the building owners have jumped the gun and gone full commercial in anticipation. I was curious as to if there were any laws that prohibit this because the township adopted the federal law and originally put a moratorium on dispensaries as soon as the law went into effect a few years ago.

Does a community have to have a zoning law on the books to regulate commercial grows? The reason I ask, we have commercial/ industrial buildings being used for commercial grows.

Be careful, they are hard core democrats and may not be sympathetic to our cause at all. I would contact a few of the above named and find out if they will support us. Most of their efforts are focused against the union conservatives.

I know from my experiences as a public official its a much more positive experience for me to be contacted by my supporters than to have a group of angry voters yelling at me. There are several house members who feel the same. Adding your personal story about why and how medical marijuana has helped you may garner some support for our cause as well.

The one thing to remember here is IF indeed the allegations are as BB states the ethical manner to handle this would be to quietly involve the proper authorities. There is no evidence to support his rants and if he did involve the proper authorities he would have been told to shut up and not to post any more of his accusations during their investigation.

Because this movement is political you are correct. There is a level of credibility that must be maintained. Damage control is essential as well. All of us that are involved on other MM forums need to conduct ourselves in a manner that reflects the movements efforts to preserve our law. As far as bashing BB, that simply will not help us at all. Obviously something is wrong and he is not our main focus at this point. This forum will survive this mess, now let's work on restoring and maintaining our credibility with the ones who have control.....the politicians.

I think the one point that's clouded by everything that has taken place is Tim and the other mods were trying to preserve the organization itself. In a conversation I had with Tim I mentioned the similarities between this organization and local government, city counsels and township boards. Just because one board member jumps ship doesn't give us the ability to openly discuss details or even openly display our personal opinions. It just doesn't work that way whether its here or in the board room. There is pretty much an unwritten policy to protect your "community" until the facts play out on

I believe it's the same for them as local government. Each reading must be done on different dates to allow for any additional modifications of the public act (law). This allows the rest of the house of reps a chance to weigh in on any changes they may feel necessary.

Could one of the administrators please check out why I / we can't change some our personal info. I tried to change my e mail address as well as pass word and it won't work, just keeps telling me my e mail addresses don't match. Blueberry knows who I am and my identity has been protected. I'm also in government and can't risk exposure. You need to know that we can't defend ourselves unless we know exactly who the enemy is. Your identity is safe with Blueberry or better yet pm one of the moderators with the information that will help us with our cause. We don't have to know who you are, just privately send verifiable information. It appears that you understand how much this affecting patients and caregivers.

Ok, so it sounds like if you have a clean record they don't have access to whether you have a mm card or not and would only have this information should one have had the mis fortune of a run in with LEO and then it would become "open" information as part of your permanent record...but only if the card was shown to LEO. Interesting fact/ thought on this.....perhaps Michael K. could weight in on this one. I really want to renew and the last time I renewed I had let my MM card lapse for other reasons and renewed it late.

For various reasons I can't check the yes boxes until LEO gets their bunny muffin together.....I don't admit anything! It's not a comfortable way to live for me at all.
