  1. If you need to see another doctor, or know someone who does, the Ann Arbor Health Collective is running a special on appointments for this week! $175 with or without your records
  2. Ann Arbor Health Collective is pretty nice, they just moved to a new location. It's a lot bigger than the old one and the set-up is still really nice. They've been running specials on meds (half-price) and they had in some great new medibles the last time I was in. The chocolate bars they have are fantastic!
  3. The Ann Arbor Health Collective would definitely be a good option for you since the doctor there doesn't require documentation of your medical history. I got certified there and I wasn't able to get my medical records before my appointment. It's a little more expensive if you don't have records, but it shouldn't be a problem.
  4. So I just tried some new medibles from AAHC. Usually I make my own, but every now and then it's nice to try someone elses stuff... Maybe get some inspiration I tried her chocolate covered cherries and some mango black bean salsa and they were both absolutely fantastic! I recommed that if anyone is out in the Ann Arbor area to stop by and check them out (I don't know if she sells them anywhere else... I only go to AACH, but maybe?).
  5. And marijuana isn't a gateway drug at all... seems like this should prove that it's time to start focusing more on people using illegal drugs and less on those of us medicating with marijuana.
  6. Oh man, that really sucks. I wish the family the best of luck at their new home, hope everything turns out alright :/ It's ridiculous the way this state treats patients who are just trying to live their lives and deal with their medical issues in a LEGAL WAY. There are so many people who turn to other illegal methods to self-medicate, LEO need to leave the legal MM patients alone!
  7. going 2 b in ann arbor on sept 8th. Doc. Appt. U of M

  8. With all of the other things that are legal and actually harmful (alcohol, for example) I don't understand why people don't support the complete legalization of marijuana. Think of what that would do for Michigan's economy... That alone sells me on the issue.
  9. I can't stand Mike Cox either! He's really not doing anything useful for our state... Thank goodness he lost in the primaries
  10. That makes so much sense... If we weren't wasting all the money and resources that we waste trying to bust people smoking/growing pot, we could concentrate on bigger issues. There's a laundry list of issues that need to be dealt with in this country, and pot shouldn't be on it.
  11. I agree that things aren't perfect right now, but they are definitely so much better than they were under the Bush administration. Things aren't going to change over night, but as long as things keep improving for patients, I'm going to support Obama. He can't make this country perfect in a year, I still think he can do a lot of good given enough time in office.
  12. I haven't heard anything good about it yet... Pretty much the same stuff that's already been said (low quality meds, mismarked, salespeople that aren't knowledgeable...). People say lots of different things about the places in A2, but my personal favorite place to go is the Ann Arbor Health Collective by Trader Joe's. The salespeople are always so nice and they know what they're talking about. Plus, I was in today and they had even more variety than usual (including hash). It's pretty great
  13. I agree completely! Until they start making bars illegal (not gonna happen) they need to leave patients alone. It's completely ridiculous that our elected officials are wasting their time and our money on legislation trying to ban an activity that the people of Michigan voted to legalize. These people at the clubs are MEDICATING. If you ask me, that should be more acceptable than going to a bar and getting wasted for no reason and then driving home.
  14. I tried Marinol once, and I have to say I didn't like the effects at all. It was very difficult to concentrate or focus on anything while on the drug, so if you still need to function while medicating, I wouldn't recommend it. It would be better to go with a nice sativa to take care of your pain during the day
  15. Wow... I never thought I'd see the day that I agree with Sarah Palin on anything...
