  1. I work briefly at a dispensary its not all its cracked up to be, I learned a lot but I really learned pot may be legal but its not a freedom or a right. Its strictly money. With these companies wanting to get rid of rec grow I feel I'll be put back into the 90's pot world.
  2. Any caregivers in the Houghton area looking to get together and share ideas, growing tips, seed exchange, grow medium recipes, even discus legal and growing issues, etc... over coffee or a beer? Tired of living in the closet over something simple, natural, and once legal in this country.
  3. Just when you think things are getting better and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Then I read this, its true, I feel the same about the issue and I fear that making it 100% legal means that its only going to be 100% legal for the corporations. Then 100% of the money for the corporations and so on. I have been doing small farming for myself for years, chickens, tomatoes etc and other friends have done the same and more. Each year they take for rights away from people who want to live a little slower life and a little less dependent from the Big stores. In my opinion just read the laws on selling at farmers markets, and raising live stock. The same will happen to the MM. And they will use the same logic its safer for everyone. My question is safer how? Safer because they use FDA approved pesticides, Chemicals in the soil or dirt? I love my vegetable garden and chicken eggs, I know whats in them and how they where grown. I can only imagine what a commercial pharmacy would do to the MM. Also check out IL's MM growers, Lets see the biggest grower is owned by a mayor, chief of police and owner of a strip club. Guess they had better credentials then us. I fear trix is right. but I hope trix is so wrong.
  4. I've been on Ritalin, Klonopin, Adderall, and some others for ADHD through out my 30's. My wife as well minus the Adderall but she's more anxiety. I stopped all Meds and she did the same except for the Klonopin. I can go on but I'll just repeat what the other posts stated. I will say, certain strains of pot can sky rocket our anxiety or adhd and some strains can really make the adhd go away but I do more starring and thinking then getting things done. I did find a few strains that really take care of both. Blue Cheese seemed to be the best so far so I'd give that a try if you can find it. It tastes really good, Smells good and curbs the adhd without making me tired or giving anxiety. I has been hard to find strains that work as good as blue cheese. But If you'd like to keep in touch I'd love to hear what the results are if you find blue cheese. Stay off the meds never seen it do any good for anybody. Good luck and be safe!
