  1. I have been using a product that I got on Ebay named, Dr. Bronners peppermint liquid hemp soap. IAdd 1-2 drops of it per gallon of water (for soil) and have had no issues with them eating on the roots. I still see them on the fly sticky boards, but not effecting the growth at all! Highly reccomend! :geek:

  2. This is exactly why I do NOT attend any of those so-called compasion clubs, and have heard of many cc's having issues with money among leadership. If you really want to pay for a great organization, go with NORML. I just think that since the mmj law passed, that there are so many out there that want to capitalize off of it. This is why I do not agree with some caregivers transferring their medz for high dollar, which is most of them. These people are in it, just for the money, and talk about being soo compassionate, but yet, get a high dollar amount.

Just look at the prices at the dispensary in Warren. REDICULOUS! These people do not set a guidline for donation costs! Furthermore, an ounce of good quality medz should never cost more than 260..........................just saying :money:

  3. Ok i placed an order today for Dr Greenthumbs Matanuska Thunderfuck Fem beans ive always wanted to run this in my garden and i cant wait until i can start . :dodgyrun:

Since the stats at bottom state "Poor, when flowered at a cutting of 8" to 12. I'm sure means to veg this one for alot longer than usual. Kind of like the UK Cheese, or chem sour. Then you will get a better yield indoors. It takes digilence and patience for some of these cross strains. Good luck diamond!
  4. I love my volcano, and I have tried most vapes out there. And I still ended up finally buying the volcano. It is quite bulky, but very awsome! I am a little confused by the olive oil to make bho?? Don't you mean you make a oil tincture? Mmmm intersting sincerely dazed and confused LOL!:wacko:

  5. Those are the outside of my plants, because they are so huge! I do the "bending" method to try and keep the canopy level. Plus, I only have a 7' ceiling height from floor to ceiling. Good idea to place shorter plants on buckets! Thanks.....

  6. Do you have to flush frequently using these nutes? How often do you flush the pots?

I only give ph balanced water at the last three weeks of flowering. I have no issues with the final product either. I don't flush, only my toilet ROFL!

  7. I guess that if you have your meds tested, and it comes out like that, can't be all that bad. But I smell testosterone LOL! I know we need to help folks out, but I myself, am not worried about an extra 15 bucks on a gram. Or, testing my meds, because I know there good. I just think it's great that you can do it, just the same as everyone else, and I'm sure that they all come out around the 70% as well, without testing. Keep up the good work Tarzan, and have fun....

  8. I picked up Organicide from Organic Labs about a month ago from Holly Hydro, but they also sell it at Home Depot.

$20 for a 16oz bottle of concentrate that mixes with water.

Main ingredients are sesame oil and fish oil.

I've been using it in veg and its working great, and you can't beat the price!

No Spider Mites works great, so does Azamax, but that $100 price point is a real deal breaker in my frugal opinion.

You can get a smaller bottle of azamax for about 25 bucks. That stuff goes a long ways too, plus if you are adding fish oil indoors, that attracts gnats. I stand behind using azamax, and proves it works!

  9. Other choices:

I use Azamax, its both a foilar spray and feedant. You spray and feed it to the plant, and its neem oil.

I also used bombs, the spray cans that lock open. They contain Pyrithum and dangerous poly butyl ehter stuff - its combustable, flamable, and it can cover everything in a small to medium grow with a sheen of oily chemical. The key is, you need two kinds of bombs - one to attack the mites, the next a few days later to attack the eggs the mites laid as a last ditch defense. Both are greenhouse grade chemicals and can be used safely. Read the instructions. Turn off fans and do when lights will be out for 12 hours. Do not enter the room unprotected for at least 4 hours, or you will get sick.

The real key is to screen your plants and do not enter flower stage until you get rid of the mite problem. Smaller plants in veg are easier to soak and find mites - than 4 week flowering plants. Many chemicals can burn the white hair like pistils. Plants that are heavily infested - you might be better off taking a clone/cutting from it and fight the mites on the smaller clone - and surrender the larger plant to the grave..

Very good and I agree with the AZAMAX product. I sprayed that on my plants, and no more spider mites. I also spray every pre-flower right before I put them in the flower room with azamax. Another good idea is to get HOT SHOTS insect killer. They hang in the room, and everything will be dead for up to three months! I do both...and have no issues. You can get the HOT SHOTS at Home Depot for around 8 bucks and there is two to a package.
  10. I have the actual Katsu Bubba Kush clone and I've never had anything but relaxing experiences with her. She's awesome when I need to knock myself out for the night or just need heavy pain relief.

Please don't confuse the real deal with a selfed version....

We all have to remember that what effects one person with a strain, may affect another person differently. I have that pre 98 bubba kush, and have had one person have a blackout for a couple of minutes. But most others and including me, just very relaxing! And a nice berry taste and what a body stone too!

  11. Ok I think im going to start with a T5 I found one called a BadBoy T5 its 432 watts, hopefully that will work all the way through. If im correct i have to change bulbs during bloom right?

If I were you, I would have gone with the 400watt. At least you will get a somewhat smaller harvest, but better for flowering than the T5. The T5 is good for small vegging and clones...Remember this a 400 watt will yield about 1-2 ounces (if every three to 4 months) a 600 will yield between 3-4 ounces, a 1000watt can yield up to 6-7 ounces. All in how much you have to spend, and the more light = more yield, especially indoors....

That T5 runs on 432 watts and only produces about 20,000 lumens. A 400 watt HPS produces about 45,000 lumens, a 600watt HPS = 90,000 lumes, and 1000watt HPS = 145,000 lumens. Lumens are footcandles, the more light = the more meds!!!

  12. There are multiple ways to combat those little critters. The best way is to start with the traps, and get two "Hot shots" in a package and can get that at home depot. They have a hidden barrier inside a plastic container that you place in your flower room (or veg/clone room) Next buy Azamax from the hydro store, mix and water your plants (if infested in soil) and spray your pre-flower plants right before you put them in the flower room. Also, spray the top of soil and kinda saturate it. But you want to right away water your plants with a mixture of the azamax and water. This stuff is totally safe too for humans.....I still have a few straglers here and there, but no infestation. Good luck man....they are the toughest to get rid of.
  13. do you guys know of a good place to learn about raising mantis's?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz why waste your energy on raising beneficial bugs, when you can use a very safe product on the market named "Azamaz" Just mix as directed and safe for human consumption too!

  14. \

I agree with you Medcnman, Azamax is a very safe product, plus I heard it could be ingested (not as a dietary thing) just heard that's what a rep from the company did to show how safe it is for humans. I have used it on plants that had mites. Like I said, HAD! I spray it on every pre-flowering plant that goes into the flower room. No more mites since! And it's been two years since I have been using it....GOOD STUFF MAN! :jig::cold: </p>

  15. i'm glad things improved for you,,,i really like the super thrive, its something you can do straight away, knowing that you're doing no harm...i used to use it all the time, every feeding, but then i read that in tests you had higher rates of males if used from germination..but for sick plants and transplants its the bee's knees,,lol,,glad your plants are happier...bp

Wow I have'nt heard that about superthrive turning your plants male, and I have been using it right along for a mild foliar spray on veg plants. As well as, using it for every watering for clones and veg plants, at a very low dose. I also am trying a new product for transplants so they don't stress, it's named "No Shock" Has a NPK of 1-4-4 by Advanced Nutrients.

Have you seen a difference by not using superthrive?, and maybe you should use female seeds instead of regs. I would go with clones, and stay away from any genetics, this way to make sure your getting "all female" plants....jmo

  16. Do you have to flush frequently using these nutes? How often do you flush the pots?

I quit fertilizer three weeks before they are ripe. If you know the plant and have been growing the same strains, then should know approx. how many weeks they take in flowering to ripen. My ashes when smoked are totally light grey, smooth too

  17. Remember KISS? Keep it simple stupid, ( just an accronym) I would go along with the pro-mix with micchoraze (spelling?) I use three part FF nutes with three drops superthrive, and ph balance water to 6.4 The three I uae is FF Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Micro-Brew (which has all trace and beneficial micro's) and cal-mag (like longhairbri's) During the flower phase I don't use the Grow Big or superthrive, but use FF Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, and Micro-brew. I fert once a week up until the last 3 weeks of flowering. I'm averageing 3 1/2 ounces a plant.

Ialso am trying a new transplant product (just for transplanting clones and veg plants) named "NoShock" by Advanced Nutrients. Was using a sample of Bud Candy, due to it's smaller ratio of Pottasium, and Phos. My plants look so healthy, they look plastic! Just adding if anyone it may help...

  18. There are two products by Advanced Nutriehts that will help your hermie revert back to full female! One is name "Reverse" and the other is "Saturator" You mix according to directions and spray on your pre-flower plants when changed from veg area, to flower room, and spray on top of all leaves. You will repeat this after 10 days.

I have had remarkable results with this stuff, and use as a staple in my garden. I have found that in nature, it finds a way to reproduce, and I believe that any plant, whether female or male; will find a way to grow seeds.......just like in Jurrassic Park, Nature finds a way! This seems particular in perpetual gardens...

  19. So, I germmed 6 seeds to start and 3 of them came out as females. Here are some pics of the first two that went into flower 16 days ago. The last one is behind in growth and just went in to the flower room.

They look to be either over watered or fert sensative......leaves are curling inward at tips and leaves look wrinkled. I would cut back a bit on both.
  20. I've been having issues with these ones....any ideas??

My suggestion is get some Magpro, not Calmag. Use as directed in future with flowering plants. Calmag seems to work great on some strains of Indicas, but not my OG Kush. I had the same thing and got some great info from a great guy, and grower, use Magpro, by Advanced Nutrients. 1/2 tsp per gallon of water with your fertilizer schedule.
  21. I have been using a product named Dip-N-Grow for over 20 years now, and won't use anything else. One box comes with hormone cutting solution, and mixing cup made of plastic that's about 2 1/2 tall and 1" around. There are several lines on the side of the cup. I fill Dip-N-Grow at the very first bottom line in the cup, then fill with ph balanced water (used for clones) and fill to the 15X line on the cup. Cut the cutting at a 30 degree angle at the node at bottom of stem, and I also notch the tips of the leaves. I then scrap along the bottom of the stem of the cutting about an inch up from bottom. Then swirl in mixture for 8 seconds, then place in peat pots or similar dirt cups, spray and place in plastic clone dome, and spray the inside of clear (top) dome. Spray cuttings once a day (more under top) once a day for 10 days, then bring out under T5. Remember though, after 4 days, open one of the little vents on top of dome 1/4 way......after 10 days you should be able to put them out under on their own. If they begin to "wilt" again, place back in dome for two more days, And try again......good luck!
