Yes, it is the same type of tank. You'll also need a CO2 regulator, I use a timer to control mine (30 min every 2 hours, during the light cycle).

Ummm I do not know what you would do with CO2 in your pants but yes the Kegerator CO2 tank is

the standard CO2 used for soda machines and even adding CO2 to your room.

I have a 15lb and a 20lb with the regulator. I don't use it. What's that worth. $50 a tank and maybe $20 for the regulator? I thought I paid a lot for the regulator. This is done without yielded 3.25oz.
