Newb here.

First time using a soiless grow mix: "MyCourse Pro HP"

I just transplanted a couple of clones using neutral grow mix with Humbolt "Grow Natural" nutrients. My water is 6.125 ph out of the tap (well). I tested the nutrient ph which is a 7.0. (1 gal) My run off though is only 5.0. This is my first watering....not sure of what I should expect...

 

Any help will be most appreciated.

How about ph of runoff from unused, fresh medium? ph of water/nute mix? How old are the plants? Oh, you answered that one. Are the plants happy? Any nutrient deficiency / burn symptoms?

 

What size are the pots? Overwatering new plants in big pots with full nutrient ratios can do this -- nutes build up in the grow medium as the water evaporates, and most water is just evaporating since the plants aren't using much yet.

 

I would start with very light nutrient levels on new clones, increasing when they're stable, maybe in a week or so. Maybe just plain ph'd water.
