Hello, Lots to know but the basics are to first identify that your crop is indeed ready to harvest. A 30X hand held magnifier will ID when ready by the shape and color of the trichome(sugar) on the bud. Full rounded heads milky in color and turning amber. If checing visually then make sure about 80% of the yellow hairs are turned brown, orange or something similiar. A good book and pics on the net help.m To cure you must make sure the material has dried to the point of snapping the stem when bent. Curing occurs through time and letting "gases" escape and replaced with fresh air. Drying and curing are very inportandt as is the trimming process to remove leaves full of chloriphyl. Good Luck!
