R.a.d. Systems For Women

Recommended Posts

Last night, I attended the first of a three-class series (4-hours each class) on self defense. WOW, was that empowering! Being female patients and/or caregivers we need to be prepared to defend ourselves if necessary. And as females, who taught us how to do that?

The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a Martial Arts program. This course is taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors and provide each student with a workbook/reference manual. The manual outlines the entire Physical Defense Program for reference and continuous personal growth, and is the key to our free lifetime return and practice policy for R.A.D. graduates.

Ladies, check out the website: www.rad-systems.com. Men and kids (age 6-12) classes available also.

What is the cost of a basic program?

The average cost for the Basic Physical Defense program for women is about $25. Some instructors offer this program as a community service through the local police dept (and may therefore be FREE!!! as it is in Berrien County). Many colleges and universities offer the RAD program as a credit course. Check with the instructor in your area for more detailed information.

To date, over 250,000 women have attended RAD Basic Physical Defense Program. Some class locations/instructor information follows:
