Illegal ? Yes. BUT!! Some seed companies will mail you their products despite the law. Many from Spain the U.K. and some from Canada only care to get their products to the customer and say "SCREW IT!!". I CAN NOT recommend ordering seeds over international boarders, however, you may be able get away with it. Millions of packages travel through the postal system unchecked every day. So what are the chances they find the one with seeds in it addressed to you? Slim. HOWEVER!! If they do come across your package, they will take the seeds and replace them with a letter stating the GOV has confiscated the seeds and may even press legal charges against you. Though, few have been prosecuted by doing this as far as i know. If you did decide to order seeds from across the boarder, I might, maybe recommend using another address for the seeds to be delivered to. Im not suggesting that you do that. Just that you have the option. :) PEACE

Ahh the good old green tape... I've had that a few times, never had them take it any farther but darn this is a great way to make a grower paranoid!

opps, a "friend" of mine did order from Amsterdam with no problems. I (i mean he) did not know it was illegal. They came hidden in another product, very discrete. If it is legal for patients to posses seeds and the gov is not going after MM users what could happen?

Federal violation of importing a schedule one drug... Thats a very severe felony, and it also means bye bye medical card.. Its not the smartest thing in the world but it works 9/10 times, and like I said I've been green taped i.e. customs left me a cute letter instead of my order but nothing ever came of out other then severe anxiety and paranoia.

I have never had a problem ordering seeds using Legends Seeds and Dr Greenthumb, or anybody else for that matter. I don't think Dr Greenthumb has ever had a seizure in his business's history. I think he is registered here under greenthumb seeds and he has a post that states this. I think if you were to use Doc's express delivery option then the items ordered would be replaced if seized.

I have NEVER heard of anybody being prosecuted for ordering seeds. The most that has happened is they received a letter stating that contraband was seized. Have no fears of ordering from a reliable seedbank or breeder. If something happens a reliable breeder or seedbank will replace your order. If you are still worried about ordering then have them sent to another address than your own. Once seeds are in Michigan, or if you order seeds from someone here then it is totally legal if you are protected under the MMMA act.

Remember, for the most part the feds at this time DO NOT give a crap about medical marijuana if you are completely in compliance with your state law.

Yeah, My green tape was from Dr.Chronic right around the time things started getting shady, so who really knows if it was customs or if it was the doc himself, HG420 had just gone "down" and a lot of people began having some major issues getting things from as well. None the less, its a frightening thing because at this time there were no medical laws ;)

I have ordered seeds from cannabisseeds.com. They came in a descreet little padded brown envelope with crush proof vials inside! :rolleyes: Hand sorted :D . They confirmed by email of receiving my order and shipment day ;) . Fair prices. I just put a few between some damp paper towels 2 days ago! <img src='http://www.michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> We will see if they germinate now! :)

 

edit 4/22/11: Those seeds suck. I have had a year of bad luck with them .... do not buy from them, they are scammers

Compassion Clubs are a great resource to look to for Genetics. There are a few Breeders who are members of the club i participate with. I should think it's the same elsewhere. And besides face to face card holder to card holder in the state of MI I should think is as close to legal as you can get.
