You stated 1 fact that we put saddam in power. No ones disagreeing with you. WE all know this. Everything else YOU said was just your feelings.

 

The troop bashing, The government bashing, You got any thoughts on how to change things for the better, Or are you only capable of trashing & insulting every religion, government, & all the veterans who have given you the opportunity to even be able to post your thoughts, however delusional they might be. You might be a grown man But it obvious you have'nt been to any of the places or met any of the people who you have made judgments about.

 

And the Vietnam thing, The main reason the troops today are getting the respect they deserve is because most Americans realize we made a mistake in the way we treated those heroes when they came home............

Not everyone knows this. I'm sure most Americans do not. I've mentioned a lot of other factual information already. Take your pick - Afghanistan heroin poppy production is through the roof, the Patriot Act is still kickin', Guantanamo is still there as far as I know and Abu-Ghraib will be one of the darkest stains on the "US Government" for a long time. I can go as long as you want and not get personal one bit.

True, if someone volunteered for the military it is not the same as being drafted like they were in Viet Nam.

 

Many, many people also volunteered to serve our great Republic during this dire time in World history.

First of all the only people I am bashing are the ones who make immoral policies. I don't know why you think I am bashing Palestinians. Obviously I support them. I have so many ideas about how to make the world better it would go beyond the scope of this thread. If you want a running dialogue about my ideas maybe I will make another thread.

 

As for chemical weapons to Saddam, I don't believe in the concept of "proof." There is always some degree of doubt in my mind about any particular thing. Would you accept "strong evidence?"

Its a conversation starter, politics and religion, make for a realy heated argument sometimes, some times the truth hurts, I say draw what ever you want, and put a manger at city hall, if the kids want to say pledge of a legance, so be it, majority rules! not the few, check that pledge alegance should be mandatory! if you realy look at things, it is the few that have been winning, not the majority, I have absolutly no issues with any religion, just dont tell me what i can and cant do!
