I agree Smartest. This guy wouldn't get anywhere running as a republican though. Not only is he pro pot, but he is also for abortion rights and gay unions. Sounds like my kinda guy, but not the Republican party's.

The GOP leadership didn't like him when he was in office, ostracized him as soon as he came out pro-pot after leaving office. Unfortunate.

They will only do so when Big Pharma pays them to. The "small govt/small regulation" mantra has just been at the behest of the corporations that buy them. Libertarians they are not. Old guard Dems are no diff though. Bought and paid for, or just lacking in guts and integrity.
