LansingAreaCaregiver
Good afternoon all, We're looking to expand our strain selection as currently we are indica heavy simply because this is what our current patient base has requested. But for all you Sativa fans out there, if you were to pick one or two great sativas,l what would you choose and why? We've got our own thoughts, but I thought I'd toss this out there first to get a patient's perspective. Thanks! Chris

FloridityNow
Of course, no one is saying why. Why would a medical patient ask for skunk weed, a strain known for it's psychotic attributes and virtually zero CBD? In the story Apocalypse Now, the character, Chef asked for "Panama Red". Later, he had his head handed to him on a platter. I don't know what that means, but the skunk weed request make me think of it.
HerbanLegendSeeds
I second the super silver haze Sour Diesel is another good one
christinax4
sour diesel, ja. lemon haze, awesome. sweet tooth makes me rhyme(sp?). but i only smoke those when im on the computer or being creative, fiddling around in my garden with plants, sometimes to premed if im going to go on a hike or whatever...i actually went out and built a huge igloo with my kids this winter on full-blown out sativa high (to motivate me enough to do it) sometimes if i'm doing research for a paper i've smoked, gives me a different perspective with writer's block or whatever...cold weather usually = depression for me, helps ease the cabin fever of a michigan february...but really, honestly, sativas don't do bunny muffin for my fibromyalgia. Maybe helps a little with back pain. a strong indica helps immensely for my pain. But i can't do any of the above mentioned things while i smoke it. i'm still searching for my lucky strains. gage
as part of "job" at co-op myself and my crew do quality control on all meds . of the 25 to 30 strains that were tested in the last ten days, without a doubt barneys' LSD grown by med man tony is everyones favorite wake and bake. about five minutes after first test security dude starting sweeping sidewalk in front of our storefronts---caught up to him four doors down the street or he would probably have swept till he got down town----now thats a sativa--- ---tucker oh yeah--we were luckly enough to have her around for three days
toker31
just spent 2 weeks in amsterdam and after sampling VARIOUS Sativa strains Barney's DR. Grinspoon was my fav sativa BY FAR.... beware flowering time up to 130 days with this pure sativa, grows very tall and is not a very dense flower, if u r familiar with the way pure sativas look u understand *Soma's Buddha Cheese was a close 2nd and not far behind was greenhouse Super Lemon.. just my 2 cents
TajMahal
For a smooth up and awake, yet relaxing one, try Canna Sutra. Very unique From a growers view....look into AK48
rambozo420
Ok so you want to talk about sativas I got 1 shes a herming complain but I Love HER because even when she throws nanners at the first sign she still kicks donkey if you keep on top of it YOu will get some more weight. But its an acquired thing she dont produce squawt under shop lights and 400hps But she will always be in my garden.of its MONKEY PAW the real deal I will show you something under loop that I have yet to see with other strains.Just need a better camera to show. Its so resinous it seems like it has been dipped in something.Which it has not.She has a very exotic taste and the feel IS
reddy
any haze hybrid especially SSH, SSSDH(super sour silver diesel haze), amnesia haze, jack herer, mango haze, nevil's haze. those are probably the top haze hybrids. also want to try columbian gold, malwai gold, and thai. Simple Jack
I can vouch for the Jack Herer, as I use it. It's authentic Sensi Seed Bank, and the Haze phenotype. I also use the Sensi Seed Bank NL#5xHaze, which I strongly recommend. I've heard a lot of good things about Kali Mist, and will definitely use it some day. I saw it for the first time online awhile ago. I haven't been able to try it yet. I have heard on multiple occasions that its a world apart from most sativa/sativa hybrids floating around. I would be really curious if anyone else has ever seen any of the genetic materials around michigan. TFB
Kevin
I would try to get as close to a land race sativa as possible. But that's just me. B)

LongHairBri
70 to 90 days. do both of your plants look alike? i have a couple of seedlings and they look REALLY wierd. at least one does anyways. the leaves are all wrinkly and deformed. never seen anything like it I've growen Kali Mist for years. one of my all time favorites! flower time is around 80 days. Kali likes to strech out in flower but REALLY fills in during the last 30 days. also, do a through flush at the end. Kali taists like smokin' a bowl of fruit-loops and when its in the house you can smell it from the front porch!
