burriedalive
Greetings and salutations bubblegrower, I read that lemon juice would adjust the ph down. Is it that easy? And how can I adjust it up without spending a ton of money? I'm on my second grow, The first was dismal. I learned a lot since I started. Like not to use miricle grow. My second grow became far too tall so I took some string and bowed them all over to fit in my basement. The ones that I bent early and trained to grow horizontaly have, by far, the best and the most buds. So we all know what I'll do next time. Also I didn't document anything. If I don't start, I'll likely begin to forget some of the things I never knew about agriculture. One other thing bothers me. Why do we put a d in adjust???? Best regards, Burriedalive
Jipo
Honestly, the general hydroponics PH kit is dirt cheap and will last a lifetime.

Jipo
Np, It keeps thing simple instead of having to run around for fruit and vinegar. plus unless your water is extremely high or low you'll only use a drop or two at a time.

DLD420
I recently bought a Ph meter from Pulse for less than $50 delivered. Works great and the probe is replacable. http://www.pulseinstruments.net/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=1242
