kgb69ss
Good afternoon Fellas, This was my 2 month long project following me being added to the list of qualifying patients! I had this old stainless steel cabinet that I had dreams for, and now it is in the room I constructed from studs and drywall with 400 cfm exh fan, 35 amps of power, and an ultra reliable water heater timer that is hardwired to a designated 20 amp line to power 600 watt MH veg and HPS bud AgroMax bulb with a Euro air cooled hood connected to a Digital conversion ballast. Specifically for germination, and early vegatative growth, the 75 watt flouro x3 in the cabinet should prove to be "the cats meow" for getting started! It still needs more time and testing to be sure. Complete with "YO-YO's" for light suspension and a small 4" fan to stengthen the young seedlings and clones to come. The only thing I need to do is make it light proof before the plants are at the end of their veg stage. Temperature regulation has been tricky since this set-up is fresh. I can already see a need for a small computer fan with a hole in the back or bottom. I germinated my White Widow, Himalayan Gold, and Super Silver Haze seeds folded gently between paper towel in a humidity dome ( whole broasted chicken container from the grocery store for a humid-dome! B) ) Started germination process on Tuesday the 11th. Sprouts on Friday the 14th! I have photos in my gallery of the cabinet set-up and the rest of the room. Forgive me for any poor editing or lack of updating as often as I should, but I have a life too! PLease, Please< Please comment on anything you see or hear that you like or dont like! This is my first try at a perpetual grow. Hopefully I haven't forgotten everything I read! With your help, I will succeed! (I gotta figure out how to reduce the resolution of pics ......) edit: http://www.michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/index.php?app=gallery&module=user§ion=user&user=10851

For a 6 x 9 room you will need more than 1 600 watt lamp

kgb69ss
I'm actually only going to have room for four flowering females in the area the 600w is hung. The seedling cabinet is going to be blacked out from the outside, because it sits right in the same area . Maybe in the future I will add more lights and move clone cabinet out of that room. Minion
That 600w light can flower a LOT more than the 4 plants u want to put under it. You can put up to 20 plants under it and have big beautiful buds with 5x the bud at harvest. Heat may be a problem with a light that big so make sure the vent system you have is big enough to handle it. You also didnt say what kind of water system you plan to use. Hydro? Soil? Soilless mix? I would like to know a little more detail before i tell you any more tip or tricks. PEACE
