I have probation out of 48th district Birmingham court and was wondering if there was anyone on probation there using the medicine or how if they knew how I can go about using it. Thanks much

______
Clear it with your PO first. Show them your card or paperwork. This is not a case where it is better to ask forgiveness than ask permission.

svandyke09
In kalamazoo, judge santini DENIED me from my meds even all my paperwork in in in order. I now will most likely fail my drug test tomorrow and violate. I will get a lawyer and WILL beat this.

But i really hope you have your Card when you stand infront of the Judge ? Most Judges don't accept paperwork ... ask : " phaquetoo " ... He 'll tell you all about that .... svandyke09
The judge gave me a moo-poo excuse like the doctor at THCF who gave me my rec is not my main doctor. My main doctor is a U of M doc and they aren't giving out recs. I used the dilution method to try and beat my drug test, I smoked 3 days ago. I'm expecting fail. My check was cashed around 4/20, I doubt I will have my card soon enough.

Not to be a naysayer, but one of my customers, who was the first person I ever heard of receiving a Michigan Medical Marijuana card, was signed off for one by a U of M gastro surgeon, and my 75 year old mother was recommended for registry by a U of M oncologist. Good ol' Moms was down with it too, lol. And on another note....not your main doctor?!? That goes against all medical reasoning, and really ticks me off. That judge is full of crap imo, and should stick with the law and not medicine, of which he/she obviously hasn't a clue of modern procedure. Has he/she never heard of specialists? That judge has absolutely no sound bearing to base that decision on. It seems to me the judge is essentially implying the physician who recommended you is a charlatan. Scooter
It varies from county to county. Unfortunately most are following their opinions and not the law. I'm on probation for possession until June 29 of this year, and I've never had to report to anyone nor be tested for anything. Luckily I was the first medical case in my area, and was able to influence LEOs interpretation of the law in a positive way towards patients and caregivers. But on another note.....you still see a pediatrician? Seriously?

What they are doing to everybody No question there is a huge hypocritical double standard in the way courts view big pharma medications versus marijuana, even though both are on the recommendation of a physician. I'm in the same boat as you. Hopefully, this slanted view by the courts will change with time and education.
phaquetoo
repost I got cerified while i was on probation, I sent my p.o my paper work, I pissed neg for thc, methadone and xanax, my p.o violated me for thc!!!! lol, I went to court and showed the judge all of my paperwork, I did not have my plastic yet, I told the judge at the time it was taking 95 days to get cards. he looked at the date my check was cashed and added the days together, he gave me the 95 days from check cashed to show my card or report to jail, I got my card in time faxed a copy and medicated all i wanted to, I pee peed neg the rest of the time for thc, and much to my p.o's dismay she couldnt do anything cause the judge followed the law, I guess i was lucky, they realy dont have to let you do mm on probation,,but I dont see why they would let me do methadone, xanax, flexeril, serequel, motrin, and a number of other drugs! I hope you get a judge that is mm friendly like i did in alpena county! Good luck! Peace! Jim

Then you can drop dirty all you want and they cant do a thing, and its PRESCRIBED not RECOMMENCED...

______
Yes. I know of some case's where the judge has requested the Dr's opinion. I also know of some cases where the probation officer's have requested that the Dr. write a letter on behalf of the patient. I guess my writing was not real clear. What I meant was if the Judge had ever asked a doctor for a second opinion when he had a medical problem.

______
There is a pee test which will differentiate between Marinol and marijuana. It is very expensive and not used often by employers. The courts might check though if they had suspicions.
