Genya Ravan - Hold On I'm Coming

The way she sings it sounds like the "O" should be "U". I dig it.

Made me instantly think of one of our favorite bands...NSFW...

Ever heard the Dub version???  One of my most prized vinyls, a PMRC era laugh fest.

Soundgarden - Big Dumb Sex (Dub Version)

I had not heard that before. The old PMRC started by people who now claim to be "liberals". That's another story and not for this thread at least not from me...

But my favorite Soundgarden song is definitely this one. The vibe, the vocals and the subtle yet directness of the lyrics tie that album together for me.

That is a rippin' tune.  Art by Detroit's Mark Dancey (Big Chief, SG's fave band at the time) on Badmotorfinger.

Coupla early SG songs I like live 1989.  Hiro Yamamoto on bass!

Soundgarden - Nothing To Say & Far Beyond the Wheel

Big Chief - Drive It Off

Detroit Techno Space Mix

eirenmichael: "This was recorded at a party in the late 90s, was pretty messy so a few mistakes. At one point someone was messing with the deck speeds when I was trying to mix in.

Some classic tracks on here though.

I've added some of my favourite intros to space and sci-fi films as there's not much better for futuristic soundtracks than this. The movie clips used are:

Saturn 3
Space Truckers
Galaxy of Terror
Planet of the Vampires
Lifeforce
Battle Beyond the Stars
Forbidden Planet"

I think you posted something by this band recently, Bisharoo.  Can't remember if it was this song or something else.  Another Southern Rock barnburner!

Rippin' rendition of Ghost Riders In The Sky there.  George Bedard (Ann Arbor) plays a great version of that tune.  Check him out if you get the chance.  He is a guitar savant, a walking textbook of classic American guitar stylings!
