hey i am a patient and a friend of mine in the process of getting his card has been asking me to grow for him. just curious what the average caregiver patient deal is. i would like a deal we could both be happy with but dont know where to start. any input would help. thank you.

Nothing more then 50 dollars an oz. Probably right around 30 dollars an oz.

Asking this question here is like throwing a match into a gas can...just as a heads up. Price debates tend to get pretty heated. I would argue that the figure above is very much not the norm. A few might be lucky enough to find those kind of prices, but not many.

Prices are really all over the place and up to the patient/caregiver. As a ballpark, I've heard many caregivers reference figures from $200-$400 per ounce. Some charge up to $500-$600. Dispensaries that I've visited are charging $50-$60 an eighth. Bottom line, it is whatever can be worked out between the patient and caregiver.

Hope that helps

yeah i know what you mean. patients seem to want free weed and caregivers seem to want top dollar. thanks for the inputs so far. i guess we will just haggle till we can agree on something.

yeah whatever. that is just rediculous. that is unheard of. nobody can get good medicinal grade marijuana for that price. and maybe you work for min wage but my time is worth more than that.

Lots of people get it for that price, because they grow it themselves ;) . I guess the question is how much of a friend is he and how much compassion do you really have?

that is right people who grow it for themselves. they grow themselves. themselves. this person would not be growing hiselve. i would be doing all the work. i would lose money selling it for that. and im not gonna float the bill for someone elses medicine. therefore like i said at the top for that he can grow it for himself.

30 to 50 an OZ???? ill just keep growing for myself and tell him to grow his own for that.

Who are you getting your mmj from? $30-50 an OUNCE? It's gotta be dirty Mexican brick weed for that cheap. I get some pretty wicked herb from my CG (my current fav is BlueCheese...awesomely funky) and I pay $75 a quarter for pretty much everything (Northern Lites, Blueberry, Cheese, White Widow, AK-47, Sour Deisel...its all the same price). The only thing thats priced lower than that is plain ol' cooking-grade commercial. That's around $100/ounce. YOu're getting the deal of the century at those prices.

Wow people are getting lit up like crazy in this thread.

Yea this is like the 300 time this thread or one like it has started. Since the perfect price is different for everyone few agree.

Always comes down to socialist vs capitalist........ Its a no win. any price you quote will offend someone.

The doctor had it right. its a private thing.

One patient might deserve it for nothing, another might have the ability to pay and is able to grow on his own if they put in the effort. Every patient is different. I have no problem charging different rates for services based on ability to pay & the need for the medicine.
