My patient, whom was raided with me on june 16, was motioned in family court today regarding custody. The judge would not accept the patients paperwork as it was deemed "hearsay" and the recommendation likely "signed by a robot". They would not even submit the paperwork.

My little sister, and patient, lost sole custody today of my 6 nieces and nephews because she is a medical marijuana patient. Screw the MMP we quit.

I find it hard to believe that child welfare removed your sisters kids just because of her status as a patient and not due to something else.

 

Is there any proof to help your cause that will assist us in getting you in touch with the right people to help?

Unfortunately I fear we'll hear more cases like this because a parent(s) is a Mm patient/caregiver or both.

 

My daughter has an acquaintance who works at the FIA office on Dunham Rd. with foster families and was informed at a staff meeting that "increased child removals are foreseen revolving around medical marijuana" they're planning ahead to rip families apart.

 

Why are we getting so much resistance to this LAW. So much energy and monies are being spent that are better suited for more important and necessary things like...teachers, firemen, EMT' and yes even cops.

 

We need to inform the public of the financial expenditures to our protest signs, whats being spent recklessly by those seeking election or just because they're PO'd the law passed.

 

We will overcome all this, it will take time, money and more perople going to jail. But we will come out on top.

Gun pay with several kids around,

and ...AND...MEMEBERS of the government sharing MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENT INFORMATION WITH ANYONE AND EVERYONE,

Warrant never showed to the people being searched,

Court not allowing access to records,

Threating to kill family pets,

False statments under oath.

 

See this is spreading like wild fire. We need to stomp these out quick.

There will be upcomming court dates on this matter. We NEED to be there and show support. We dont want these clowns getting away with this. If they do then others will try the same crap in your home.

We have the "objection to ruling" form handed us at Friend of Court, (to their dismay lol) and are awaiting the judges written paper to file with the objection.

Our arrainment on the trumped up charges are July 15th at 900 a.m. And I just want to say we have a huge house with tons of room and are very laid back good people. We would be happy to host anyone for anything if it would help in supporting us!

I am trying my hardest to be in Saginaw the 21st. I will most likley be there. Seeing how "up in arms" some of you on here are, is has made me want to fight just as hard, but due to a lot of reasons I will not be able to make every protest or anything like that. Maybe someone from the doctor's office can testify to the legitimacy of the recommendation, that would make it not hearsay. Also, maybe it could be brought in under the business document hearsay exception for the caregiver. Otherwise, it should be appealed. In some cases you can appeal in the middle of a trial, otherwise you have to wait until the end.

Are they removing kids from families where the parent has a prescription for hardcore narcotics???!!!

 

If an mmj patient is protected from the actions of law enforcement or an employer, shouldn't they also be protected from actions by other agencies of the State of Michigan??!!

 

The state's MMJ law clearly needs to be amended to provide protection from the FIA as well!

This is so wrong, and on many levels! More abuse of the system by those in charge of stopping the abuse! And a senseless waste of tax dollars, by an ignorant Judge who would rather stay in the dark, than educate himself on the truth about MMJ!

I hope that agency, judge and the police dept. gets NAILED TO THE WALL! I'm sure many people think it could never happen to them, but try to imagine how you'd feel if it did- what would you do, who would you call, who could you trust? Is there anyone who would support you? Where would you go if you lost your home? Could you afford to fight back, would anyone help you? Like any disaster, people must be prepared. Since coming here I think about what I'd do if I were arrested and/or raided, convicted and sentenced, I couldn't afford bail or anything. As much as I need MM I may have to stay away from it, I couldn't handle the trauma- just thinking about what could happen scares me. If that ain't psychological terrorism, what is? Either way I suffer. It's not fair. Since I was 3 I've been subjected to cruelty. Children don't forget, even if they forgive, the scars last a lifetime. I never dreamed this society could be so cruel, never imagined I could witness and endure the unspeakable abuse I've known, and seen others endure, too. It could've been much worse for me, I know, but it could've been much better. They may've worn me down but they'll never get all of me.

Is it possible that the FIA action can be detailed and posted in a single blog or online press release that we can then share with the govenor and other elected officials and media outlets? Or has that already happened?

You are filing this complaint/appeal to the judicial supervisory committee? I am no lawyer, but I am sure that is what you need to do, they have the power to issue a stay, overturning the ruling pending another hearing. I don't know your case, but if there only reason in her losing custody, is being a patient then you will want to file charge's of your own, after winning this fight!

I think most people don't show at protest for fear of repercussion from work and their local LEO! Even though we are suppose to be legal depends on your local courts and judges we need the fed to quit worrying about votes and get off the donkey and make it a federal law to many honest hard working and severely sick and disable people pay the price.Have patient caregiver card but still afraid to come out off the closet work to hard all my life for the crooked court system to take it all just not right. Get my driver licence back in September because of my seizure disorder plan on being more active in the movement just need to get all my ducks in a row so the courts can't screw me.Wish everyone that has to deal with the system that make the laws the way they seem fit! Maybe there is some truth behind some not showing for protests due to the thought that they may some how find repercussions some where -

Well how about this - Everyone shows up wearing a paper bag that has patient written on it - no need to show your face - you could park away and walk in so as not to create any attention getting there.

The message will be in the numbers and support that shows on the 21st.
