Heavy Yielding Strains

Hi all. Im new to the forum and site. The doctor signed my recommendation on 7/7/10, and the state received my paperwork certified mail 7/14/10. Im curious as to which strains the caregivers here have had the best yields with? My caregiver and I are actively looking for clones to get started our grow op underway after I wait the 20 days to make sure there is no denial letter in the mail. Any suggestions for heavy yielding strains? I absolutely love AK-47 and Blue cheese strains. Im looking for at least 1 good mostly sativa strain and a mostly indica strain. Any help fellas?

Big Bud is nice, but the colas get rather heavy and stems can break from the weight if you're not careful. It's a bit leggy in flower, so it needs to be LST'd to keep it low. Good daytime up smoke. Easy to trim, nice compact buds. Not a night time Med. IMO

Black queen yielded about 2 ounces per plant under a 400 watt hps id love to do a BQ grow under a 1000 watt hortilux eye or mh pulse bulb was some really good meds too.

Endless Sky, The Dope, Chemdawg/G-13, Chemdawg #4, Sour 13, and Iranian/G-13 are all very heavy yielders and potent from Dr Greenthumb. Belladonna and Sensi Star from Paradise Seeds have given me some good ones in the past also.

strawberry COugh Kyle Kushmen Clone only cut. Dynamite x Chemo Clone only finishes in 48-56 days. Blueberry x Ak47, NL#5 a Ak47.

I grew Big Bud and did not find it to be that pwerful. everything i read and was told said it was only around a 13-14% THC Content. I grew it once then did not clone it did not pass Quality COntrol.

It's kind of a breeding strain, huh? Take a potent male and hope you keep the potency and increase the yield.

dlovas, I had several grows of Big Bud. I know the reported THC content is somewhat low as compared to others, but what the heck, I liked it, would grow it again, yield was very good. Very up high IMO, almost euphoric, very motivational Meds,no couch lock. Different strokes for different folkes. Had a nice flavor too.

I have to admit that my BB grows were 7 years ago, a lot of new stuff has come out since. Am now growing a Blue Berry and a Blue Widow, and both are very frosty 42 days in as of today. I'll soon know how they compare to BB.

Actually if you were, or are, lucky enough to have the original Big Bud from the Pacific Northwest which is clone only, you would be blown away. I haven't seen it since the early nineties but know there are a few strain hoarders who still have it kicking around out west. The Canadian and Dutch seed versions of Big Bud were just that, plants that produced big commercial buds that are probably not even related to the original, and just stole its name. The original REEKED like skunk and almost couldn't be contained. The same thing basically happened with Northern Lights. The original was fantasic, and is one of the long gone greats that the Dutch watered down and lost. Compared to the NL of the eighties, today's versions are crap. Hopefully there are some strain or seed hoarders out west that can at least reintroduce a comparable yielding and potent NL for today's time. It really was something else back then. There's a few of you out there that remember it. Showing my age again!

I heard that Big Bud came out of Indiana many years ago. Take your pick I guess.

If you have had true big bud you would not know how to to stop it flowering. Had 18 inch buds. First crop I stopped to soon. All branches looked like bud. Have be patient. First buds might be harvest 6-8 weaks before last?. It will stop flowering sooner. next generation maybe.
