would an attorney please weigh in on this.

i'm sure they don't carry scales suitable for weighing small amounts of weed in patrol cars. how have they handled it in the past.? confiscate it, take it to the station to weigh it and return it if the suspect was within legal limits?

apologies if this has been addressed previously, haven't been a member very long.

Not a lawyer, but I would be careful about the 2.5 oz thing. They tend to include the weight of the container (ie. the baggie) I have heard of them including the weight of the jar the meds were in. Unless you are picking up or delivering med to a far away patient/carecagiver you should play it safe and deliver smaller amounts less often. As far as just driving around, carry what you need for that trip, not every little bit the law allows.

i was thinking along the lines of picking up legal limit from a cg where you'd be transporting to your residence. appreciate the feedback. others more than welcome to weigh in. agreed carrying the legal limit around makes no sense except when a patient picks up and assuming he gets it all at once.

maybe as a matter of routine picking up, say half that amount makes more sense if cg is local. until i joined this site i had no idea what a can of worms i opened with my $100 check. i'm thinking ignorance might have been bliss. too late now. ) i am definitely going to consult with some attorneys locally (they mostly have free initial consults) and road trip if necessary to specialists in mmj law and related issues if it seems warranted.
