1000' From Daycare (Clairification)

Hi to anyone who can help to answer this question,

We live in a very Rural area, lots of farms, large lots, nice homes. We recently got quite a scare when we heard you could not grow within 1000' of a Daycare. I read the posts about the schools, but does anyone have info about Daycare's. We are about 800' from the neighbor who has a Daycare.

Nothing in the law says anything about schools or daycare centers

It is to my understand, that a fine can only be doubled if there is something illegal going on, if you are not illegal, then you should not have to worry. And Herb Green is right, it does not say anything that you cant grow or use within 1000' of a school zone or daycare or anything else like that.

If you have a legal, medical grow, you should not have a problem being in a school zone. While this term once meant the area within 1000 feet of a school, in many places the term has been extended to include all areas where folks under the age of 19 are likely to gather. Check your local city codes.
