I prefer food grade alcohol to make tinctures. Everclear 150 does the job quick and effectively.

use only 4-5 times filtered butane and make sure you thoroughly understand the purging process.

This site has the best and most up to date info....I have done a few runs and did a sun purge.......Another new technique is purging under a vacuum..........HJ

 

I would be willing to teach you how (for free)......I have done this for several people.......I may have a few stainless extraction tubes available in the near future too

butane is the way to go, much stronger and way better tasting than ISO washes, can be foul tasting from my experience. i will get some 99% to clean my glass with. thanks for the heads up on that.

there's ways to do it PB, you just got to build it yourself, other solvents could be used as well.
