Ideas About The Marijuana Law

Recommended Posts

IMHO ALL the Compassion Clubs should be doing all they can to 'get out the vote' for November 2nd.

If nothing else it would be good 'communication' practice to work out the kinks so that the MMJ community is politically prepared WHEN or IF the MMJ law is tampered with by our politicians at BOTH the State AND Federal levels.

CCs could also organize letter writing and email contacts to both the State and Federal 'representatives' to help get the MMJ / cannabis laws changed.

VOTE NOVEMBER 2ND.

Out of curiosity, what is it gonna take to have the federal law changed so citizens of states that allow mm to not be able to be prosecuted under federal law? What is the process and why will the government not do this?

There should be enough of us out there that we should be able to vote anyone in out out of office. We need to let them know what we want and if they don't do it, then they are out of office. Pot Smoker of America are stronger then any Union.

I would have to say. Let's ban together and change the world.

lol... it will take the medical industry figuring out how to corner the market of Pill style MM over natural MM so that everyone's pockets are greased enough to make the medical industry lobby in favor of MM. :)

Perhaps it would take a majority of the states in the union deciding to allow MM or decriminalize pot before the federal government sort of has to give up it's stance.

We the people have to keep letting our government know that we want this, and that their job is to represent the wants and needs of their constituency. We have to vote out bad seeds, and vote in more enlightened politicians. We have to keep using the law to win our court cases and defend our rights.

We are already in the process... it's just early on, and sort of slow and painful.

The only correct way to deal with this issue would be to insist that our elected and non-elected officials respect, defend, and protect the individual human rights of each individual. Until that happens, you are just going to be ruled by statists of one flavor or another, with the two parties convinced that the other guy is the problem.

This "groupism" always grows at the expense of some individual human beings who always, which individuals, the groups says, must be sacrificed for the good of the many.

This forum is trying desperately to help sick and dying people have a better quality of life, but in my opinion will never help us individual humans here by voting for 1 statist after another. My opinion is based on the fact that this is what statists do, what they say they will do, what they beileve about "who owns you, really?", which always 100% of the time leads to tyranny, misery, injury, death, and destruction and which is entirely preventable if we STOP VOTING FOR THESE STATISTS PLEASE. Now would be a good time, not next time, now. We can be principled now if we just do it.

Only when the rights of each individual human are protected will humans be free to choose for themselves their own medications, food, and all other personal choices (as long as those choices do not infringe on the rights of others). The current system of statism allows for no individual choices that go against the personal wishes of some elected or non-elected official(s).

Seems like we have given up again and are willing to settle for someone who says it is OK to choose some things for yourselves but, as he says, he will decide what those things will be. Marijuana is Ok but not some other personal choices (even though you are harming no one). Huh? It just physically hurts to see what we have let people do to us and are still willing to let them do to us and others.

Cap & trade is a main goal of the party he supports. My family cannot afford a few thousand dollars a year more in energy prices (Obama says that will necessarily happen). Can yours? Keep voting for people who want to do this to us.
