+JuztBudz
I just found out that a dear friend, and a princess warrior for our cause has passed away. I speak of "Medicinal" Michelle Rainey, Canadian activist and all round sweetheart. Michelle was one of the BC 3, a group of folks who were put on trial for selling seeds through Marc Emery's group. She has fought cancer for some time now and has succumbed to it. Well known for her fiestiness, her hugs and her pleasant, welcomed smile, Michelle will be sorely missed by her husband, Jeff Tek, writer for Treating Yourself and High Times magazines, and by the entire cannabis community. Here is a link to one of the many tributes... See you on the other side sweet Michelle...I know that your pain is now gone. In Remembrance...j.b. thanks2
Very sad. I wish the simpson oil was better studied. The oil does not seem to have a high success rate on internal cancers. I assume she tried simpson oil, but maybe she did not. The toughest part about being in the medical marijuana community is constant lose of those you feel friendship towards. R.I.P. Michelle. welj31
So much saddness today. Lets not let their deaths be in vain. I still have faith that the world can and will be better than it is today. John

Dubliner
Old Irish Blessings ,,, Remembered Joy Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free! I follow the plan God laid for me. I saw His face, I heard His call, I took His hand and left it all... I could not stay another day, To love, to laugh, to work or play; Tasks left undone must stay that way. And if my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss... Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss. My life's been full, I've savoured much: Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief— Don't shorten yours with undue grief. Be not burdened with tears of sorrow, Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow. Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there... I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow... I am the diamond glints on snow... I am the sunlight on ripened grain... I am the gentle autumn rain. When you waken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of gentle birds in circling flight... I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry— I am not there... I did not die... An Irishman's Philosophy: In life, there are only two things to worry about— Either you are well or you are sick. If you are well, there is nothing to worry about, But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about— Either you will get well or you will die. If you get well, there is nothing to worry about, But if you die, there are only two things to worry about— Either you will go to heaven or hell. If you go to heaven, there is nothing to worry about. And if you go to hell, you’ll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends You won’t have time to worry!
Brad
Again JB, excellent post. Michelle was a front-liner and every patient and caregiver should take a moment to find out who she was. and the rest of us keep marching.......
