Mars420
This site is very informative! I'm trying to understand the process of becoming a caregiver... What forms do I have to fill out with the state, where do I find the forms? Do I need a patient to designate me first prior to becoming a caregiver? I've looked around on a few other sites and I can't seem to find the right information. Thanks! Mars
Grow Thread
yes, a patient must designate you as their caregiver first. all forms are available here: this first one is if the person is already a patient: http://www.michigan....09_272850_7.pdf and this would be the form for a first-time patient to fill out and assign you as their c.g. at the same time: http://www.michigan....09_272862_7.pdf welcome to the site

drtarzanmd
Personally i would check out a local Compassion Club ... Meet some people , get some phone numbers ... Do you have Equipment to Grow ? Can you provide Meds to them immediately ? can you provide them w/ Meds at a steady supply ? Honest ... I'm not being smart w/ you ... The Reason i ask is becuase being someone Caregiver is pretty impotant ..... The Patient trust you w/ his Life almost ... Maybe not all , But being a Caregiver comes w/ lots of Responsibilities .... I'm not trying to discourage you either ... But there are Alot of things that must be learned ... and your in the right place ... There are many Patients looking for a Good Caregiver ... One that treats their Patient w/ Compassion ... There could be several reason a person needs a Caregiver ... Just as there are several reasons why a person wants to be a Caregiver .... Thats where it becomes personal ... Its personal becuase the Patient is asking a Caregiver for Help ... Fair Help ... and All Good Caregivers know in their Hearts what is Fair ...... Trust Me ... My wife is a Caregiver and it's not all that easy ... Knowing which Meds are best for her Patients ... Understanding how the Meds / each strains effect her Patients... Which ones are good for Day ... Which one is Good for Night ... Which strains relieves social anxiety attacks ... How do Medibles work to help your Patients .... Plus keeping in regular contact , to see how their doing ? To see how the meds are working ... Requires Alot of Effort and alot of responsibilities to provide the best service you can ... Personally , Our Patients are like Family to Us ... Anyway " Mars420 " Welcome to MMMA 2.0 Sure hope i help you a little ... Merry Christmas to You
Mars420
Thanks for the great REPLY! Like I mentioned this is new to me and I don't have equipment yet, I don't have meds yet since I'm not a caregiver yet... I'll look for some compassion clubs on this side of the state and start to network as i know it will be a lot of work but looking forward to learning all the ins and outs. Thanks again! If you have to ask how you become a ..c.g You are not ready to be a c.g, you mite be ready to try and do black market sales, thats easy, care giving is caring enough to do all of your home work before even considering doing it! Gee I hate to tell people to break the law, but you should have meds available 20 days after c.g form is filled, not when plants are grown(at least 3 months) from day of signing to cropping! Now if you are a pt. you can grow for yourself and do some p to p transfers and get a start at seeing what a good c.g is and should be! Merry Christmas! Good luck to Ya! Mars420
Good questions tarzan, you saved me from giving the tounge lashing I was about to give! A Tongue Lashing... With me being new to the site, it's my understanding that sites like these are geared for individuals looking to learn from more experienced individuals and the information Tarzan provided was very detailed and informative. The reason I'm here is to learn, probably like the other new registered users, so unless there are unwritten rules of what I can and can't ask please elaborate on that for me... Or better yet have an admin or mod send me an email to clarify. I'll continue doing my homework here and other sites, all the best!
