Budz-4-U
So, how many Dispensaries are going to start up now, in Mt. Pleasant ? How many will the city allow ? How many could the Patients in and around Mt. Pleasant support ? Will the opening of more Dispenaries drive the price down ? Or, is the price going to be kept pretty much the same, just more places and strains ? Will a judge in a different County be able to use this as a precedent, and rule in favor in their County ? How long before the Appeal ? This is going to get the ball rolling. I hope we get to keep the current Patient/Caregiver law, plus add in legal Dispensaries across the state. So, how many people are looking for Commercial property to rent, lease, or buy ? Peace !!
+420Atheist
I'm betting there will be no appeal of this case. I think a smart PA would not waste the tax payers money in his county when there are morons in Oakland that will do that for him. I could be wrong as it really depends on how big an idiot their PA is. I would not open a dispensary anywhere until it was settled at the Supreme Court level but some people may. I doubt there will be a mass migration to MT Pleasant. Still it could become a nice weekend get away as we have heard evidence in this forum that the casino is friendly to people with cards. Kingdiamond
Only thing that scares me is once big business sees how much money is slipping through their fingers politicians will find a way to serve their masters and take away our grow rights in favor of those who butter their bread. This is the level of government the dispensary issue needs to be decided. I don't think there will be an appeal. This city attorney sounds like he is following the law and his duties (unlike some people I could name- Oakland County you know who you are ) This will DEFINITELY drive the price down unless the government gets hold of it or the industry becomes a monopoly. Could take months though.

GrowGoddess
Only time will tell. Here is a link that will lead you to the judges opinion if you have not had the opportunity to read it. This document is a PDF so you will need a PDF reader to view it.
