drtarzanmd
OMELETS IN A BAG Have you ever heard of this? It works great! Good for when all your family is together and no one has to wait for their special omelet. Have guests write their name on quart-size freezer bag with permanent marker. (I use Ziploc with "real" zipper. A broken bag would make quite a mess!) Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag shake to combine them. They say not to use more then two eggs , But i've done up to 3 w/ No Problem ..... Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc. Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake, Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up. ` Place the bags into rolling boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water. Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed. Then after your done , You can use Hot water to do the dishes...

Hydraulic Jack
I'm pretty sure these bags aren't made for cooking in.......I'd be careful about what kind of plastic is leaching into my food if it was me.........HJ

Rashore
Hmmm, not sure how often I would do this at home, I actually like making omelets that get filled and folded, lol. But this sounds like a perfect idea for camping, and no scrubbing eggy gunk out of the pan after.. totally brilliant
