I've been focusing my time on setting up the gear that touched down yesterday. I still have a few things missing.

A/C should be in Tomorrow.

environmental controller, is got knows where and needs to be tracked down.

Light Ventilation:

I decided to do a DIY Dark Room Louvers vent, These things are 99.9% affective at trapping light. They work well for intake for our purposes. They should not be used for out venting, they will slow the fan too much.

Cutting hole for vent.

gallery_4481_529_23776.jpg

Vent before DIY Louvers.

gallery_4481_529_133284.jpg

Louvers fabricated and installed. (paint needs to be touched up, spray paint sucks at 15 degrees)

gallery_4481_529_51804.jpg

The Louvers drawing air via Vortex fan.

Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm trying to get things caught up so I can talk in detail about my plan of action.

Finally my Brother Tarzan shows up. LOL

Glad you made it buddy! :thumbsu:

Okay I'm tired We'll have updates, in the A.M

Morning " MosCutty "

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement ... :thumbsu:

Surely looks like your really Busy ...

Setting up a Grow Room is NOT Easy as many think it is ...

Nor is it Cheap ... Especially if your supporting your local

Hydro Dealers up here in Northern Michigan ....

I'm still trying to fine tune mine " One Day at a Time "

Plus trying to help others understand what it takes

to set up their systems ...

Everyone situations are different and not Everyone can afford

to set up those Hi- Tech Hydro Rooms ...

Most of the systems i help others set up cost approx. $500

for a bare minimumm to get going ...

That's one 400 watter HPS and one 4 foot T-5 .....

Then you have nuts , clones , seeds , soil , extension cords ,

timers , the Grow Bible , Fans , vents ,

But anyways ... I did'nt notice a Price List w/ this System ?

Right on Dr. T, Your grow room looks great very professional. Yes many of the toys I am working with are for more advanced users.

However If you just look at the system itself not the toys all around it, I think it can be affordable.

One might have to save up, I did! But it can be down. I'm glad you brought this up because I was going to talk about it soon. :thumbsu:

So lets think of it this way:

4 Bucket system Retail. $850.00 standard foot print plus shipping

4 buckets system w/ specked gear:

5 buckets with uniseals

1 Mag drive pump

1 PondMaster ap 40

1 float valve

1 30 top of res. (extra)

1 8in airstone

5 6in airstone

1 26ft. hose

assorted uniseals

I could probably build this system for around 600.00 to speck.

Or down grade some of the parts a bit and build it for around 500.00.

The system can function as veg and flowering. allowing easy use for people with one room setups.

The Control unit can also be ran outside of the grow, to keep water temps down. Therefore no need for chiller.

I have one because I run a lot of gear outside the room, so it's just as hot, reason for chiller.

A four unit system can fit under a 400 watt perfectly.

Veg time is cut to 1-2 weeks depending on what your vertical limits are.

The system runs about 1/3 of nutes, also saving money.

Since it's recirculating so fast, good nutes stay stable.

Res can be changed every two weeks.

Lots of dissolved Oxygen means explosive root growth!

Meaning more productive plants.

If you take a look around on the net you'll see the results of this system.

without all the bells and whistles too.

Dr.T if you'd like to test one out, lets start building! :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

It 'll be very Interesting to see how well you do indoors ...

So after a very long day of interesting conversations. I've decided to drop the update tonight. Tomorrow I really need to get in order and pound out the details.

The plants are coming long but as I expected Lemon Skunk is dumping way ahead of the Bubba x OG.

My Bubba Cut has always had a slow veg time, however I thought crossing her with and OG male then back cross and throwing her in a Sub-Current would speed things up.

But no She will take her sweet time. :P

At this point I really think the Skunk plants good go in a week. I should have maybe picked two plants with Structure. Well you live and learn.

Here is the Phresh Filter, much lighter then can fans, with good revues so far.

This is without pre-filter and with dog chain for the moment.

gallery_4481_529_31588.jpg

Little BubbaXOG, I'm ashamed of the dead leaf but, been busy building.

gallery_4481_529_104485.jpg

Bubba Roots dropping.

gallery_4481_529_311783.jpg

And Just to complicate things, our friends from BloominBasements, gifted me a pack of TGA SubCool, Pink Lady's. I'm told it's a special pack set aside from the breeder. So What too do?

gallery_4481_529_8851.jpg

Even out of focus these do look good!

gallery_4481_529_64893.jpg

He told me to take good care of them!

gallery_4481_529_169743.jpg

I'll figure it out in the morning. :D

Thanks for all the views, hope everyone is enjoying the show. Thanks to all who have given good feedback and continue to help me along!

Everything is a work in progress.

So let the Show Begin . Thanks for the invite at the Taste Testing . Give me some advance notice as I doubt I'll be able to stay more than a week er two . I think Tarzan & Phaquetoo are planning on staying till yer Fall Harvest this September . Lucky You :D ,,, :thumbsu:

Update:

Well Dr.T was up early with "My Girl" I'll close it out with a little something different.

So lots of time has been spend figuring out, the flow of the flowering room, Feng Shui is very important.

Here is the dehuey from the back.

gallery_4481_529_40188.jpg

Dehuey From the outside. Home Depot buckets have so many good uses! :thumbsu:

gallery_4481_529_94362.jpg

Now lets talk water. Good water is the key to life. Got this for extra hard water.

gallery_4481_529_218736.jpg

This is a must, have stop buying bottled water and take care of yourself and your ladies!

gallery_4481_529_38662.jpg

The RO is inline with all reservoirs including drinking water. :goodjob:

gallery_4481_529_72876.jpg

Top off Res with inline shutoff, all reservoirs are on float valves.

gallery_4481_529_250101.jpg

The A/C and CO2 are up and in testing I'll have pics of those tomorrow. :thumbsu:

Pink Lady Update:

So I dropped the Pink Lady Test Seeds, and of course all sprouted.

gallery_4481_529_104973.jpg

Someone told me Subcool likes Rapid root plugs, I had some around so what the hell. Can't find the silly little tray. Don't try standing like this at home kids.

gallery_4481_529_99379.jpg

I also got word a friend was in need of some genetics due to crop failure so, I fired up the aero!

I run a heater at 74 degrees, and a 6 inch air stone. Also turn my sprayers vertical, with no leaks.

This run has Clonex lets see what it does.

gallery_4481_529_85861.jpg

Here she is ready for Lemon Skunk Cuts.
