Maj. Richard 'Dick' Winters (1918 - 2011) has died at the age of 93 Immortalized in the HBO mini docudrama "Band Of Brothers" told of his and his men's exploits and heroism during some of the worse fighting of WWII including the historic siege of the "Battle of the Bulge" in The Ardennes.
