rambozo420
Portage leaders may put hold on medical marijuana Comments 0 January 11, 2011 8:26 AM PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Today Portage city leaders could put a hold on new medical marijuana businesses. They're expected to vote on a six-month moratorium. The delay would give officials time to figure out how to regulate medical marijuana in the city. Several other Michigan towns have taken similar steps. Tonight's city council meeting starts at 7:30. http://www.wwmt.com/articles/marijuana-1385951-medical-city.html
ScrogBubbles
That is a shame. The clinic in Portage is by far the most professional I have seen. I will be at the meeting tonight.
Purearbor
We have been in close contact with numerous city officials, and we will be exempt from the moratorium. We will be there tonight as well, and hopefully will see some friendly faces!
TomcatJones
...REALLY? just my luck. well i cant be at the meeting nor am i a resident in portage. but i lived in kalamazoo for the last 2 years and in the next two months i'm looking to rent a home in portage. there are 43,000+ people with their MM cards in MI - would portage really want to restrict any of them from potentionalally coming to their great town to live and or visit? i hope someone can voice my concern. good luck!
