national geo channel at 8pm tonight, jan.16th, 2011 new show Drugged :high on Marijuana channle 57 on Charter cable....This is a two day special...and a cpl hours each day..

Remember, over 50% of Natgeo is owned by Fox....

 

So, with that knowledge, I understand why there is so much misinformation and bias there is so far in this show.

 

I am disappointed in NatGeo for this show. As a channel which many people look to for accurate information, it is a shame that this is what they are showing.

What a piece of drug warrior propaganda. They just said addiction. For every good point in the show, there has been at least one made up reefer madness quote.

I thought this show was gonna depict marijuana in a positive light, or at least not so biased.

I watched the 'Cocaine' part of this and by the sounds of it

would have only been angered if I'd seen the Marijuana

portion. The only thing in the Cocaine portion that I know

to be true is the 'instant addiction' to the rock. I've seen

that w/ my own eyes and witnessed helplessly as my

good friends lost all to this drug. Luckily to come out

on the other side to rebuild their lives.

Cocaine is the SOUL ROBBER.

That's a stretch too, our college poker parties had coke flowing, I did a few lines occasionally and just didn't like it. That was in the 70's and addiction was never considered after a few crazy nights of lost in the woods.

I was referring to Crack Cocaine not powder.

I tried both and didn't like either of them thank

what powers that be. Although, I did personally

witness those who were 'hooked' after their 1st.

try smoking crack.

Overall, I give this NatGeo presentation a big "thumbs down".

 

 

There are also clips on that channel for "Marijuana USA" which IMHO is much better. Good or bad, it's important to watch and be aware of what mainstream media is presenting to the public.
