So they topped the night off with spirits. “In the name of Larry,” around nearly 80 people said, lifting small Dixie cups filled with shots of Wild Turkey American Honey, a bourbon-based liqueur. “If you knew Larry, he’d want us to do another,” said Frank Sherman, 69, of Milford, who knew Nehasil for seven years after meeting him at the gym. “We all just loved Larry.” Pastor Terry Prisk of The River Community Church prayed with the group as they stood outside for the candle light vigil that began at 7 p.m. over an hour. Inside, Tim Gabriel, who owns the gym, said he saw Nehasil at the gym, where he was a member for 10 years, Saturday. Joe Suliman, 50, of New Hudson, said Nehasil came to his 40th birthday party after they met at the gym 10 years ago. “He’s a part of our community,” Suliman said, adding the vigil was organized quickly Tuesday morning. “I was just amazed at how many people showed up.”
