Only 20 more days (or so) till the main cola's come down!!!

Next round of pictures I'll try to lessen the lighting so I can get in a little more detail.

I'll probably give them one more foliar feed of micro-nutrients (Organa Add), one or two regular feedings, then I'll begin their flush in a week or so with R/O water and un-sulphered molasses, and then finally just R/O water for the last week.

Here's the girls at 44 days:

Very nice brother, those girls look great. I've been giving some thought to the supplemental lighting we discussed, and I think I've figured something out. I'll be freed up in the next few days so I'll work on a sketch for your input then a prototype. I'm pumped you've given me something else to figure out. Keep up the good work, those girls are rocking. :thumbsu:

Beautiful plants porc..How similar are the two plants ? Would you say you have 2 different pheno types ?

Thanx again, LM

They are pretty much exactly the same. I couldn't tell the difference between them if you mixed them up, so I would have to say they are same pheno.

Ahh I was gonna say...Your complaining over those nugs? darn....

She still looks great though...

Can you post some bud shots of those?

No complaints!

This is a photo before moving the Blue Dream.

I'll try to get some pictures of the others up in another thread when I get some extra time.

those G13 monsters are just SICK. i can't believe the size of them (especially compared to the other plants in the garden).

have you been feeding them carbs? steroids? lol...

i also think they will benefit from some defoliating and cleaning up of the deficient leaves and "sucker" branches... more energy to the top buds!

amazing job. i am truly impressed.

I would't get too stuck on exact harvest times, harvest times are an average; they may be a few days earlier or a few days later

I'm just guessing they'll be ready around 65 days to start taking the tops off. They will be actually be harvested by trichrome color.

Well, by my count we are 58 days into flowering and things are going along very nicely. Both ladies are in full flush now.

One thing i would like to point out is that there is no lack of denseness in the cola's. Generally i refrain from giving a good squeeze, but i just couldn't help myself this time around and was very much delighted and rewarded with a distinct candied grape smell and VERY sticky fingers!

The two plants are showing a distinct difference in bud formation (the way the calyx's pile on), but not structural difference in the actual plants. #1's flower formation is forming into classic spear shaped cola's and laterals while #2's calyx formation is resulting in a more blocky and chunky style cola's and laterals which is evident in the pictures. The only difference i am finding in odor is that #1 seems to have a slightly spicier grape odor while #2 has a candied grape odor. Both have a fruity grape odor that is VERY pleasing to my individual palate. i have very high hopes to retain this in the cure, so i will make sure to be very careful when the time comes, as this smell is distinct but also seems fleeting if not dealt with properly when needed. Neither plants are overly smelly, but they definitely are starting to get that funk.

i'm guessing probably another full week to ten days before the main cola's come down, but this is only a guess.

These pictures are from when i opened the tent tonight with no HiD lighting on, just the flash this time so everyone can get a slightly different perspective of them on them this round of pictures.

Hmm, looks like a couple of weeks left to ripen, i don't see much calyx maturation as of yet. If you are getting anxious, you could cut your photoperiod by 30min to initiate senescence. Chunky is looking nice and a touch faster, Spearman looks to have a bit too much leaf in the bud, might smoke a bit harsher.

I don't see much need for a flush yet, the yellowing pattern shows a nice balance for this stage of flowering, and would even suggest one more light dose of P to help set the bud. I'm betting the Fourth will be a very good weekend around your parts...
