Perpetual Grow

Okay, we have the room set up for perpetual grow - two rooms...the only big question mark in my head is, how or where do I put the ladies that are transitioning from the veg room to flowering room for their 36 hours of darkness?

the 36 hours of dark before introducing 12/12 light is not 100% necessary. in some strains it will help speed things up a bit and kind of "get them in the mood"..... but it is in no way necessary.

when i move from veg to flower, it's all in one shot........... but if you really want to do the 36/dark thing, just throw them in a closet/another small dark room :thumbsu:

I have heard of the 36hr-theory, but I have never done this myself. always waited till end of the ladies' 18hr-veg cycle, then went 12hrs strait in the dark and popped them into flowering 12/12. never had an issue w/over 6 different strains- indies, sativas/hybrids, etc-no problemo.

no dark period needed..

these plants have grown outdoor since creation!

there are no extended dark periods in nature.

keeping things all natural would mean slowly lowering your light period just like nature does..

something like 5 mins a day difference LOL

18/6 then straight into 12/12.. it will adjust on it's own perfectly fine.
