Marijuana Causes Sexual Dysfunction In Men

Recommended Posts

The more of these marijuana related news stories and articles that I read, the more I am starting to conclude that the media is largely standing in the way of progress with the medical marijuana movement.

Most every news story is slanted against MJ. Even the ones that end up seeming pretty fair still have to call it grass, weed, or dope or make some other half-assed joke about MJ. It seems that the most intelligent reading material that you find is after the article, in the comments from other readers. The public is much more behind MMJ than the article authors. Usually they are much better informed as to the law too.

Does anybody personally know any media types? If so can you ask if generally speaking, they don’t see the hypocrisy, they don’t feel any duty to help, or if they just can’t help because of management or some other reason. Ask them too if it would be helpful if we made available an information line for the media to call our group with MMJ related questions when researching stories. Maybe we should just ask them to post their questions here.

As much as it turns my stomach, I can somewhat understand why politicians don’t want to be seen with us. I am trying to figure out why so many media outlets don’t really seem to want to be seen with us either. Maybe it’s us? lol

Seriously though, did covering all of that ‘War on Drugs’ propaganda in the news for all of these years brainwash that many in the media? Is it government pressure, ignorance by news bureau chiefs, or what?

Oh, and that sexual dysfunction story…..I saw the headline online recently but then the story centered largely around an admittedly flawed study from 1982.

Pure ignorance I suppose, oh yeah and all the control of current flow of money... who'd want to grow our natural resources?? Fuel would be too easy to manufacture, the cotton industry would have competition, the lumber industry would have to compete with Engineered High density resin lumber, world would be too FREE Thinking... The NAZI's like to control all aspects of our lives including controlling the problems between people, why let people relax and enjoy life???

I see how the dollars flow in other areas but I have to admit that I don't understand who is paying who to keep the MMJ media stories slanted. Can you expand on your thought?

I'll try :)

Yellow Journalism:

Cultural Dictionary

yellow journalism definition: Inflammatory, irresponsible reporting by newspapers. The phrase arose during the 1890s, when some American newspapers, particularly those run by William Randolph Hearst, worked to incite hatred of Spain, thereby contributing to the start of the Spanish-American War. Newspapers that practice yellow journalism are called yellow press.

Yellow journalism

Yellow journalism is journalism that downplays legitimate news in favor of eye-catching headlines that sell more newspapers. It may feature exaggerations of news events, scandal-mongering, sensationalism, or unprofessional practices by news media organizations or journalists. defines Yellow Press newspapers as having daily multi-column front-page headlines covering a variety of topics, such as sports and scandal, using bold layouts (with large illustrations and perhaps color), heavy reliance on unnamed sources, and unabashed self-promotion. The term was extensively used to describe certain major New York City newspapers about 1900 as they battled for circulation. By extension the term is used today as a pejorative to decry any journalism that treats news in an unprofessional or unethical fashion, such as systematic political bias.

This is just one source:

...

William Randolph Hearst had accumulated a chain of newspapers that made him the most influential man in America. He also owned vast timber holdings which fed the paper industry. Lammont Du Pont was his friend and supplied toxic chemicals which were needed for making paper. He was also the spearhead for a fledgling petrochemical industry. Both men stood to loose large if hemp turned the industrial revolution corner , which it looked like it was about to do with the invention of the "decorticator", a far superior machine to Jefferson's hemp break. With this new invention, it appeared that hemp could now be processed quickly enough to be used for paper and plywood instead of trees, and the petrochemical industry was and embarrassment considering you can make the same five hundred biodegradable products from hemp. This was not good news for Mr. Hearst or Mr. Dupont. Henry Ford had already made and fueled a car almost entirely from hemp, and it actually looked as if hemp had the capacity to affect Hearst and DuPont's bottom line. Hearst ordered all his editors to write scathing stories about marijuana to which they replied, "What's that?" Hearst made the word up because he knew no one would believe scathing stories about hemp. The articles all denigrated Mexicans, African Americans, Jazz Musicians, and the city of New Orleans, suggesting that marijuana use would certainly lead to crime, insanity, and early violent death. After a few years of this bombardment, the country was primed for the marijuana tax act of 1937.

The marijuana tax act was sent through the good old boys network with help from Hearst and Dupont allies until it was signed into law by President Roosevelt on August 2, 1937. A slam dunk for the corporate giants, and a great loss for America. The bill actually charged a one hundred dollar an ounce tax on any commercial hemp transaction, which made American hemp noncompetitive. All hemp used by America had to be imported, that is until 1942 when our supply was cut off by the war, and the Government started it's "Hemp for Victory" campaign.

...

(side note - all hemp seed is imported still, and sterilized! The cost is astronomical)

So, whomever has the highest vested interest in slandering Medical Cannabis, WILL pay to have it done.

Who ever stands to loose the most in decriminalization/ legalization... big pharma, cartels, 'poluticions', etc,

If it's a penny for your thoughts yet, you put your two cents in... where's the other penny?

I still don't see who is paying news agencies today to keep things slanted. The Hearst story is from long ago. I can't imagine every new journalist gets pulled off to the side, is given some cash, is told to write crooked stories, and is told to keep quiet about it.

Well Sure Marijuana Causes Sexual Dysfunction In Men ,

As I recall reading Male Heavy Marijuana Users have had to Undergo Penis Reduction Surgeries several times-o-year . Plus I'm sure the Media Machine would never Lie or steer us wrong in Medical Findings . Take for example back in the 70s when they said Men smoking Marlboro Cigarettes would become Sterile & Infertile . RJ Reynolds Birth Control fer Men . I think we need some Govern-mental funding to conduct our own Independent Study so we may Delve Deeper into this Possible Connection . Happy Endings to All Male Smokers & Potential Female Recipients ,,, :thumbsu:;)

The names may have changes but not their game.

As far as using Cannabis causing male dysfunction... well, from my 'other' gender

experiences... it's pure BS
