Disability Lawyers

Recommended Posts

If any of you know the answers, some individual humans here were wondering if anyone out here has an outstanding disability lawyer, we would like to talk to them as some of our community need this help at this time.

Any helpful advice or information about the process, etc. would be appreciated very much.

Allsup, Social Security disability representation, not a lawyer. This company does all of the paperwork and has had 3 people in my life approved in less than 30 days. 1-800-279-4357. I would not recommend the attorney I used because I think he deliberately stalled to get the full pay.

Hi Retta!

an ssi lawyer can only get a percentage of what you get or a max of like 5 grand, it dont matter how long it takes it matters how much back pay he recovers!

On the other hand if you think he stalled to get more of the back pay! well ssi isnt to fast! but you best be to tham if you get a date, it took me 8 yrs of fighting, im not a quitter. :thumbsu:

Peace

OK, I found out that a doctor could help if they are willing to fill out this form called the Residual Functional Capacity Questionnaire which more fully builds a case by documenting the ailments and conditions for easy identification by our SSI officials.

So, I got a copy of that here

Residual Functional Capacity Questionnaire

It prints clean even though it shows some side notes.

The lawyer we used had my wife examined by several specialists to go along with her past medical records along with questionnaires filled out by both of us describing what she could or couldn't do. Very thorough process. There was no way I could have come up with all the evidence on my own without any experience.

to be honest with ya, I didnt want ssi or ssdi, i got injured in 98 at 38yrs old, my back couldnt get better w/o a no kinda make my life better surgery as of yet! I was forced to file by f.o.c, hey when im told to do something by them i do it! but on that note.

When you get an injury such as mine, there is going to automaticly be a major trail of every specialist and test they could possibly do on me, and I have every single peice of my medical records, including xrays,mri'.Discograghy.etc. you name it i got it. I get a copy of all my records every 6 months to keep up to date, and If i leave and never go back to that dr. i take my records with me! I had everything you could possibly get to prove my case, 1st time i filed and got a lawyer on 2nd appeal lost, we went thru the last lost! I went imediatly to a different attny the one mentioned above brought my records and let him do the rest, intial turn down, got it on 1st appeal second time around, 8 yrs! from start to payday!

I've heard it's standard procedure to deny 3 times. It's a racket, that's all it is. Even with proof it can be a nightmare. Some people fight for many years.. Picking on the sick is a favorite sport. Too many uncompassionate people in the wrong positions, who giveth with one hand and taketh away with the other..

Everyone says be ready for a fight no matter what and that it may take years.

What I don't get is, that's why we have the program, right? Someone has worked for many years, paid into the system, and when no longer able to work the system will take care of them, right? Why does our government always fight against individual human beings?

Like you say Sb, even with proof, they are blind. Even presented with facts and reason and compassion, they respond with cold indifference and sometimes gleefulness at the plight that individual suffer at their hands, and solely at their hands. The hands that are supposed to defend and protect us are choking the life out of us.

Maybe they can change their hearts to allow for love and compassion for the suffering.artful-s-quotes-NYresolutionOpenYourHeart.jpg

What does disability have to do with all that I just said? These are all the same statist republicans and democrats that are always so dead set against individual liberty that run the show for SSI and all the rest.

What a nice job they do, and what a nice system you and I have paid for that works against us and for the Empire!NEWJEDIORDERSYMBOL-1.jpgTeylaBanner2.pngLuke_Swarm_War.jpg

If your income is under guidelines you qualify for free disability lawyers from the STATE. Why pay out 25% of your setttlement if legal aid will do it for free if you're on food stamps or otherwise qualify based on income?

I have been looking into that subject but can't seem to find anything.

he got baned for a few days i think

Hate it when that happens

IMHO, it's all a racket to cause more suffering for the sick.

I feel that 'most' ssi/ ssd lawyers are about the same (?).

Most are denied at least 3 times, if not 4. I would suggest

lawyering up immediately after the 1st denial, or contact

"Allsup, Social Security disability representation" as Retta

said, or some such group. It will be a lot of 'leg work' for the

filer, to acquire their medical records and then begin to

jump through the 'hoops' so to speak. Be aware that they

will often set those 'hoop' on fire and they will expect the

filer to still 'jump' through them.

As of 4/09, Lawyers can no longer take 25% of back pay

if the case is won. The maximum amount they will

receive is 6k.

I can't suggest a lawyer Bish, but I do wish the best

to whom ever you are acquiring info for.

Referred F.L. to Allsup's 1-800 today, your post was so helpful. After 25 years as a union machinist his hands won't work anymore, the company laid him off and told him due to medical he would not be hired back. He is the only person I know who has been getting unemployment from MI for over 2 years--since Ocober 2008. MI has not given him a cut-off date for his unemployment--unbelievable--but the payments keep coming and this application for SSI is meant to give him an income when unemployment realizes WTF, how did we pay somebody unemployment for so long? And maybe orders him to pay it back.
