hi, everyone, love these forums. i am a Guillain-Barre survivor. for those that never heard of it, probably all of you,it effects about 1 in 150,000 people a year. this syndrom is kind of like MS in reverse, you start out paralized and gradually get better.I spent 3 years in a nursing home rehabbing. i still have nerve pain and get around in a walker. all in all i feel lucky. sorry for the whining , time to get better

My dad had GB when I was a young kid, I don't remember much, but I remember it was a rough go.
