Time To Switch Caregiver?

I have a question regarding caregiver issues more specifically the time required to make a caregiver switch? I have two possible patients who wish that I provide caregiver services. They have already been approved and have held their cards for over a year but it’s my first time acting as a caregiver. They both presently have a caregiver but have already begun the process of sending their forms for a caregiver switch. Does anyone know a realistic time frame to make that switch and for me to legally begin growing for them with proof such as a caregiver card?

Make sure to get copy of change caregiver form and cashed check. 21 days after the check has been cashed you are good to go. Peace, Afi
