Bill Schuette Should Brush Up On Michigan’S Constitution And Stop Wasting The Taxpayer’S Money

Once again AG Schuette has shown just how incompetent he is as a litigator and demonstrated another instance of abuse of power in office. The number of constitutional violations he's racking up and laws he's breaking cannot be good for his political resume but, sure would look swell in an indictment!

Michigan Supreme Court Unanimously Rules Against Schuette’s Frivolous Lawsuit To Remove Granholm Appointee Judge Hugh Clarke

LANSING – Even the Republican Justices on the Michigan Supreme Court found Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette’s lawsuit to prevent Granholm appointee Lansing District Judge Hugh Clarke from holding his seat is meritless.

The GOP Attorney General filed suit in January to prevent Judge Hugh Clarke Jr. from holding his seat on Ingham County’s 54A District Court. Clarke was appointed to the seat by former Governor Jennifer Granholm on December 20th. But the Supreme Court in a unanimous decision said Clarke can hold his seat until January 1, 2013.

“Obviously former Attorney General Jennifer Granholm understands the Constitution a whole lot better than the current Attorney General,” Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer said. “Schuette abused his power as Attorney General to file a politically-motivated partisan lawsuit. Even the highly-partisan Michigan Supreme Court found this lawsuit to be groundless.”

“Bill Schuette should brush up on Michigan’s Constitution and stop wasting the taxpayer’s money,” added Brewer. “The Attorney General’s office is not the place to try and fight partisan political battles. It appears Schuette is ‘on duty’ for wasting the state’s time and money on partisan lawsuits.”

When is he getting recalled?

He's not going to be recalled, because Blueberry & Friends are working on getting him disbarred. :goodjob:

I'm no Michigan Attorney General expert, but I'm pretty sure you have to be an attorney to hold the position, and disbarment would seem to disqualify Schuette from the position ;)
