Ed,

I love greetings and of course the wild the innocent and the e street shuffle, and even the 80's anthems Let us hope the Big man, makes a speedy recovery.

some old friends and i were chatting last-night reminiscing about our first or favorite E Street concert and the good times the entire audience had. No other performer or group I have seen draws the crowd in and yet makes you feel as if they are there just for you.

Three of my many favorites...

Saxophonist Clarence Clemons, the Big Man in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, reportedly had two brain surgeries after suffering a serious stroke Sunday at his Florida home. On Monday, he was reported to be responsive and in stable condition.

“Yesterday, it did not look good at all,” a friend told the Springsteen magazine Backstreets on Monday. “Today … miracles are happening. … He was paralyzed on his left side, but now he’s squeezing with his left hand.”

At 69, Clarence is the oldest member of the band and has had a number of health issues over the last few years. He’s been in the news lately for his work on Lady Gaga’s new album, “Born This Way,” and performed with her on the season finale of “American Idol.”

Gaga asked her fans to send messages to Clarence.

“Little monsters, my very close friend +musician on The Edge of Glory, Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get well videos?” she tweeted.
