When Am I Officially The Caregiver?

I have a person who wanted to switch to me as a caregiver. They sent in all the change giver information with the $10 and the check was cashed. Does this mean I can start growing 12 extra plants? Or do I have to wait for a notification or some certain amount of time like the 21 days for original paperwork?

Depends on who you ask what answer you will get!

 

If they cashed the check they are not going to deny you, so get a copy of said cashed check and get 12 more babies going.

IMHO I would wait 21 days after the cashing of the check. Just because the state cashed the check, does not imply that you would be accepted as a caregiver, they use those 21 days (supposedly) to check your background. If they discover that you are not eligible to become a caregiver, i.e. you have a drug related felony in your history, then they will deny you as a caregiver. No real need to jump the gun, and you could end up with serious legal problems if you do... Peace ... j.b.

If they cash the check they did your background check already.

 

When a person is denied they simply send you the check back they don't issue a refund check from the state.

 

The 21 days is the safe way to go
