SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 11, 2011) - Medical Marijuana Inc (PINKSHEETS: MJNA) announced today that as of August 1, 2011 its initial Cannabidiol (CBD) and THC Free Product lines will be available for consumers in the United States.


The first lines of products are to be distributed to more than two thousand health and wellness centers throughout the United States as well as direct to consumers through the Hemp Network, a division of Medical Marijuana Inc (www.thehempnetwork.com). I don't know if this is good or bad. THC itself has medicinal properties beyond just getting you high, so its good that they are finding more uses for cannabis, however bad because people who don't know the truth will think it is the same thing as medical marijuana.


Oh and they remove the Cannabidiol, which is possibly the part of the plant that attacks certain cancers, like Breast Cancer. Take all of the medicine out of the Cannabis plant, throw it away, and sell the rest. Makes great sense to me. It's like an energy drink, linked to Cannabis, so people will buy it. And they can charge an arm and a leg because it is "cannabis"
