EvolutionaryPeopleSparty 2012 ! BB for President !!! No More Mr Nice Guy ...

ps Hey I'm reading about the Original Socialist Party 1921, the beginning of the CPPA - Conference for Progressive Polititcal Action. It's very similar times they were going through then, It's very interesting, imho ... Here's the link

pss I just wathched your video BB, was thinking about this earlier how they have had 40,000 people murdered just South of the RIO Grand. Jaurez is as dangerous as many places in the RVN. We lost 58,282 from 1945 - 1975 in Vietnam. That was the first time since 1942 that this country experienced a time of peace. 36 years ago The only good thing for us[vets] was they quit calling us war pigs and baby burners etc.once they got back to there game.

They dont even acknowledge Mexico as a military conflict, new terminology Mexico is an Initiative, Afghan and Iraq are contingencies, Libya ???

Wow. I've got to say, I'm almost impressed by the cajones these Reps must have to submit a bill that is so clearly a violation of the First Amendment. I think this might work to our advantage though, if we shout it from the rooftops. There are no cute buzzwords to give them even the impression of being 'tough on crime,' and no matter how people feel about medical marijuana, Americans are usually pretty supportive of free speech. It's the First Amendment for a reason. This bill could lead to the opposition's unraveling and expose them for the crooks and liars we already know they are.

i'm with you both, the wife and i have been talking on moving as well. michigan has been a chithole since grandholm and it will never recover in our lifeime and the whole nazi police state thing and corrupt lawmakers.... they are making it perfectly clear we are not wanted here. i couldnt live with myself if my family was to be harmed in any way. i think by winter we will be moving, i'll know more in a few weeks, the wife is headed to california in aug to scope things out and visit our oldest. he's been there for a couple of years now and loves it... i'm lookin' more at oregon myself but pants over rule skirts so i'm guessing it's going to be california!

Count me in too. After this next school year is over and my rental lease is up, I'm heading west. After my Los Angeles trip in May, I thought it would be really cool to live in California but not anywhere near LA. Perhaps a sleepy, little community between LA and San Fran.

Since I recently moved into a house (bye bye apt)I brought my Alzheimer stricken Mom home from her AFC (the owner was anti-MMJ & refused to care for Mom even if I helped her medicate outside the AFC). When I called DHS for Medicaid assistance for incontinence supplies and respite care, I was told she received $20 too much a month from SSI to qualify for assistance. :notfair: In California, Mom would be able to Medi-Cal w/o any problem.

One of my brothers who cares for Mom a few nights a week (so i can have a much needed break) said he would love to move to Oregon and he could still help me care for Mom. We are starting to save up now but I'll see if I can sway him towards California.

So either Oregon or California for us :thumbsu:

My friends Mother is a CG for her son and she, and two of her CG Lady friends, are talking about pooling their money to take out a half page ad for their CG services...in Oakland County, in The Oakland Press.

Unbelievable, censorship, denying a certain class of citizens their freedom of speech, right to exist,.

Them goons are Nazi's through and through to the core, what they gonna do next, round up the Jews again?

Soon they will make us all wear a green star....And if Schuette gets his way, the police will have access to the list, and we will be getting nighttime raids, kicking in our doors to "check compliance with the law" or some such moo poo.

we can make the changes needed with our voices, votes, and community. We have patients who will never be able to leave this state for one reason or another and to abandon them wouldn't be right.

This piece of feces legislation is a blatant attempt at squashing the first amendment rights of CG and as a patient, I'll fight for all the rights of our caregivers.

Opposition may become sweet to a man when he has christened it persecution.

- George Eliot

I was born & raised hhere, living in the house where I grew up, and I don't want to leave, even if I could. I'm here for the fight, or go back underground if we lose. Either way, can't leave & don't want to. Thanks to anyone who sticks around to fight with us!!

Here we go again....

Elected officials wasting the tax payers precious dollars on hate-legislation.

Elected officials working day and night on a non-issues, on imaginary threats to the citizens of Michigan, on an issues that has had no impact on the populace.

I have, and will kindly suggest that these elected officials work on the following:

1. Jobs

2. Unfair labor practices (less wages for women=less taxable income for the state)

3. Sex Trafficking

4. Education

5. Infant mortality

6. Asian Carp mitigation strategy

7. Prison Reform

Hmmm, I think I may have just outlined my own platform...

You got my vote :D

The legality of the proposed bill should definitely be in question. If a township or city charter allows for a particular business, the right to advertise is a given. I'm quite sure somewhere along the way the authors of this bill seem to forget that we have a capitalist economy. There is no legal precedence as to blocking an established business entity's right to advertise. In order to bring in sales, you have to advertise. In an era of progression, forcing a business sect to resort to word of mouth (in the age of the internet no-less) is not only as asinine as it sounds, but just as illegal as well. I can only wonder what form of logic politicians use in the creation of such non-capitalist and non-ethical bills.

As for the 1,000 foot rule... medical marijuana is not used as an intoxicant, by definition. Therefor, rolling medical marijuana in to the same class as bars and party stores is incorrect, by very definition of Michigan state law. Disallowing individuals to grow with in 1,000 feet of schools, etc. falls under the same argument. Say the law goes in to effect... are state officials going to allocate funds to allow displaced residents to purchase new property to grow their own medication? Will the state allow commercial zoned properties for those who can not grow on their home property? It really seems as if the authors simply run with the cause and completely forget about the effect. Wouldn't a citizen being refused adequate and attainable medical care by the government be considered a violation of the 8th Amendment of the Bill of Rights? When in the last 70 years has the government forced American citizens to relocate from their homes in order to continue their sustained way of life, legally granted to them by either state or federal constitutions, respectively.

Fight the good fight.

We really need to educate people on the amazing benefits of cannabis..if everyone knew what the "government" was trying to take away from them..they would probably be outraged..Showing the film."What If Cannabis Cured Cancer" in your community, even to your family and neighbors..can make a big difference..every person as access to 200 people (on the average). Now that the Democratic Party has made patient to patient transfers part of their 2011 resolutions..we have some support and maybe a vehicle to get rid of this Republican nonsense.

Stay safe

Cali ain't as good as people think. They're having problems with their law, too, mainly because of the feds, I think. As long as the feds won't budge, this war rages on. There's no caregiver system, someone told me. There may be more qualifying conditions, too, I know depression is one, but I don't know if they have all the same ones we do. The cost of living is very high, I don't know about the job market but I think it ain't so good, AND, gas prices are higher, as well as property taxes. Wherever we go we're always trading one convenience for an inconvenience. It's not fair.

There were deep cuts in Medi-Cal and they took away dental care, too, I hear. My friend there can hardly get anything out of them and he's not healthy. Like so many of us, he suffers, too.

I'd like to move away, but I can't. If I couldn't live without MM, and these laws pass, I would definitely move. Our health is the most important thing we have- that includes emotional health, which means, if we cannot be free, we suffer just as greatly emotionally as we would physically.

We know stress causes illness. So we have to do our best to minimize it, which also means, if you feel you really have to move, do it. We'll miss ya and hope life improves for you..

I've been running all my life, I came to MI into a horrible situation, after leaving a horrible situation. I could've moved back where I came from, but I chose to stay and try improving my life. In many ways, I succeeded.

Sincerely, Sb
