Tarzan , I had 17 strains tested within last month.

Fire OG 23.39

Platinum OG 21.56

SFV OG 20.69

Westside OG 20.57

None of the other 13, also known names, made it above 20. Blue Dream 10.00 while Pure Kush came 6%! Strains matter to a grower like size matters to a woman.

Nice job - you'll get to the 20's soon I bet, that Bubba Kush is really close!

We are curious, if you want to say, how much does it cost to get it analyzed?

And how's it done, do they really burn or vaporize it? & analyze the smoke/vapor?

I would like to test

the SAME Harvest w/ another test Lab ....

Just to see the difference ?

When i went to the Farmers Market in Jackson

i seen some strain there that had test results

in the 20's ...

Im sure each Lab test differently ...

Herbal Elements in TC does a lot of testing across Michigan........considered one of the most accurate. Tests are validated regularly.

no need, but thanks, just curious - I'm sure it's more than we'd want to spend, or could probably afford, just growing for us 2. But if I had money, I'd like to do tests on buds of the same strain, harvested a week or so apart, to see how the THC, CBD, CBN content changes. We look for the Trichs to be all cloudy, with a few ambers, when we harvest. I always wonder if it's the right time, if it would be better earlier / later. Just have to test it the old fashioned way :D:bong7bp:

Fully understand that ...

I really can't afford it either ...

But ... at least it took away the curiosity ...

Even though i personally KNEW that Meds Worked

and i knew i don't use No Chemicials ...

I just wanted to have Proff ....

Im going to keep getting them checked each month ...

Sparkly,

A month back (when I cud 'afford' it) liquid pressure chromatograph cost $35--55 per test. It (and the other two generally used testing regimes) consumes about 1 gram per run and they do two runs. The sample is destroyed, you get nothing back but the THC, CBD, and CBN numbers (they email the results--saves a stamp and they don't want a record of where to find you anyway. You pay cash upfront). Here in Detroit recently, week or two ago, in a free paper (Metrotimes), Larry Gabriel, a columnist who switches off weekly writing the column called, "Higher Ground" with another writer, the very famous mj advocate John Sinclair, wrote about the who, when, where, competing techniques, reliability and $ of strain testing. I would post Larry's column but don't know how.

Possibly someone who knows computers (how to search and attach) will post that column as it has lots of detail to answer your query more fully than I have.

Way to go T. :goodjob:

I'm a fan of everything Kush. Loving this OG right now. Better pain relief for MS than narcotics. Other favorite is the Kush #18 from Reserva Privada which is spectacular, and the hash from it is off the chain. The Mazar is also excellent if grown properly.

Keep up the good work brother. :thumbsu:

Thanks to this Site and some of these other

growers out her i learn to find a Process

that works ... I don't ver from the feeding chart

or the way i do things ....

I do try different things .... But i take what

works for me and leave the rest for others to use ....

I 've tasted some of the Best Meds since i got started ...

and many are getting better and better at it ...

I've tasted a small part of these growers meds out here ...

I really look foward to tasting others ...

The only problem is that Im Sopiled ...

The Med not only have to work well ...

They have to Taste Well... and Burn Well ...

I really Enjoy showing others how i do it ...

Its No Secret ... Anyone can Do it ...

It just takes time and wanting to do it

becuase its Fun ....

Hey Tarzan. Dan with Northern Laboratory Services here. Just for your information, I performed a separate extraction of each bud you gave me and one bud did, in fact, hit 20+%. The other was just under 19%, the final number is a product of each buds results averaged together. That just shows how much natural variability present in the cannabis plant itself. Excellent medicine by any standard, but I know you're not satisfied and will strive for even better! That's what I love most about many cannabis farmers, they always strive to grow better and better product.

How do they perform their validations?
