Catfinger
There may actually be a judge in Oakland county who understands what the people voted for. Chaulk one up for the good guys! http://www.theoaklandpress.com/articles/2011/07/13/news/cops_and_courts/doc4e1df9abbf070462635370.txt?viewmode=default A judge sentenced a 70-year-old Lake Orion woman who was convicted of a drug charge to 90 days of probation and community service. Barbara Agro said she believed Oakland Circuit Judge Wendy Potts’ sentence was fair. “I’m not happy that I’m here, but I don’t think I could have asked for anything better from a judge,” Agro said. Guest Mr Pepper
This is the same judge who allowed her modified confession to be presented as evidence - everything stating she was a medical marijuana patient was blacked out, leaving only "I was in possession of 17 marijuana plants". Only reason Barb isn't doing jail time is because of the public backlash that would occur if fascist Potts threw her in the clink. blindman21
I am happy for Barb. It's a crime what she had to go through. If I were her I would now initiate a wrongful death law suit against Oakland County and the State of Michigan.
Darkmatter
Yes indeed, it is fantastic that she gets to go home. However, her husband will never be able to. I am happy for her release. I truly am. I only wish that these tyrants could somehow be brought to justice. If there really is such a thing for people like us.
