If You Want To Enrage A Conservative

Michael Komorn

Recommended Posts

If you want to enrage a conservative, I suggest saying the following:

1. A Socialist wrote the Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Jesus healed the sick and helped the poor, for free. [...]

6. The Founding Fathers were liberals.

7. Fascism is a right-wing trait. [...]

10. Reagan raised taxes eleven times as President.

11. Reagan legalized abortion as Governor of California.

12. Nixon created the Environmental Protection Agency.

13. Ronald Reagan supported gun control. [...]

24. Hate is not a Christian virtue. [...]

26. Republicans spend MORE money than Democrats. [...]

29. The Constitution is the law, NOT the Bible.

30. Sharia law doesn’t exist in America.

31. The President is NOT a Muslim.

32. Corporations are NOT people. People are people.

33. Fox News isn’t real news, it’s just a racist, sexist, hateful, right-wing propaganda machine.

34. The Federal Reserve was a Republican idea.

35. Women are equal citizens who deserve equal rights. [...]

37. Abortion is a relevant medical procedure, just ask Rick Santorum.

38. Please use spell check.

39. It’s “pundit”, not “pundint”.

40. Social Security is solvent through 2038. [...]

42. Roe v. Wade was a bipartisan ruling made by a conservative leaning Supreme Court. [...]

45. Barack Obama ordered the killing of Osama Bin Laden. It took him two and half years to do what Bush couldn’t do in eight. [...]

47. 9/11 happened on George W. Bush’s watch, therefore he did NOT keep America safe. [...]

49. Separation of church and state is in the Constitution, it’s called the First Amendment.

50. Muslims are protected by the Constitution, just as much as Christians. [...]

53. America is a nation of immigrants, therefore we are all anchor babies.

54. The white race isn’t disappearing, it’s evolving. [...]

56. Evolution is real.

57. The Earth is 4.54 billion years old, not 6,000.

58. The Founding Fathers did not free the slaves.

59. The Revolution was NOT fought over slavery.

60. Paul Revere warned the Americans, NOT the British.

61. Federal law trumps state law.

62. The Civil War was about slavery, NOT state’s rights.

63. Corporations care more about profits than they do about people.

64. Getting out of a recession requires government spending.

65. Glenn Beck is a nut-job. [...]

67. Republicans don’t want to pay for your birth control, but they want you to pay for their Viagra.

68. Republicans actually NEED Viagra.

69. Fox News is owned by an Australian and has a Saudi prince as an investor.

70. Republicans complain about immigrants taking American jobs, then freely give American jobs to foreigners overseas. [...]

72. Labor unions built this country. [...]

77. Republicans only care about children BEFORE they are born. [...]

82. Churches should stay out of politics, or be taxed. [...]

88. The current corporate tax rate is the lowest in 60 years, so stop whining about it being too high. [...]

98. Republicans say teachers are union thugs, then proceed to rape and mug the entire middle class on behalf of corporations.

99. Republicans think rape isn’t a crime, but miscarriages are.

[...]

Bottom line? If you want to anger a conservative, tell them the truth.

"61. Federal law trumps state law." huh? Wait a minute, aren't we fighting for states' rights, because they have Sovereignty???

Sb

I believe that is the biggest irony in all of this. The above mentioned political view platform usually stands for states rights. For example, Bill Schuette joined the other states in the law suit to oppose Obama care, as well as joined the state of Arizona when it enacted a state immigration law (preempted by federal law), yet we continue to hear that the MMMA is trumped by Federal Law. This is contrary to the fundamental principals that this political group believes.

Dwight Eisenhower was pretty much a conservative Republican. If he were alive today they would most likely call him a liberal. Goldwater would be spinning in his grave if he could see the extreme degree the Republican party, as well as politics in general, has deteriorated. Repubs have no heart, Dems have no balls.

The Republican party has really no one to run in 2012. Both Palin and Bachman possess a room temperature IQ as is proven every time they speak. Gingrich used to be a professor and Romney is a many times over multi-millionaire. Add a skipper and little buddy and you have Gilligan's Island.

It's plain to see that both Repubs and Dems are like Pepsi and Coke. Same thing but one is a little sweeter. Vote for either if you want more of the same. I cannot in good conscience vote for either as they have continually proven they are not worthy of my vote.

I'm just babbling anyways. Love this Kush. :thumbsu:

Conservative and liberal rhetoric is a control paradigm used to prevent unity and distract the people from the real issues. Look toward the actions, not the rhetoric or media spin.

Many conservatives and liberals wish for the same outcome in many issues, but get lost is rhetoric arguing the same point with different language.

Propaganda is a very powerful and used in every aspect of our lives. Once an individual is indoctrinated with propaganda, they spread the disease faster than the agency who started the mind manipulation in the first place.

reagan was an actor. I hated him for many reasons and when he died, I was cheering.

cheering??really?kinda cold. I wasnt a big fan of Nixon or Ford but they left family behind thm that loved them. Regan, clinton have been my favorite presidents to date.

I hated nixon, too, found out what a tyrant he was. Sorry to show such a cold side, I have no love for them, though I feel bad for their families.

Nixon prolonged the war to enable re election.

He made a announcement about a major breakthrough in the peace efforts just four days before the '72 election.

I expect to see Obama make a cannabis announcement a few days before the next election.

Both inflicted suffering and death on people to stay in office.

....um...are you serious? While your trying to divide us, can you show me what the dems have done for us? I mean since the dems lost the fight to keep slavery have they done one thing ? I know you will mention welfare, but i dont see it as a good. Your whole petty little jab only showed how little our elected officials respect the foundation of the platform they were elected on. This does little to erode the value of said platform. Personal freedom, and responsibility, are the corner stones of our great nation.....not something any dem would even pretend to support.

Now to tie this into our lil community.....what are the dems doing to end prosecution of medical marijuana? Are the dems open to the idea of rescheduling marijuana? Since the end of slavery the dems gave up on the idea of states rights.....Ron paul....freedom is all we need.

What about the Air Traffic Controllers strike. From then on Union workers have been taking concessions and cuts to their hard won contracts. Union memberships are at their lowest in 70 years. Even though he was a Union Member and head of the Screen Actors Guild ? This was a crushing blow to unionists and workers in general everywhere.

Surely Ronnie was part of the Federal Theater Project, his first job after graduating in 1932 from Eureka College, Illinois *** with a BA in economics/sociology was as a radio broadcaster at an Iowa radio station.

In 1937 he moved to LA to study acting, appearing on film and eventually on TV as these medias were being launched. He later hooked up with GE acting as there spokesman and chief propaganda purveyor.

I don't think anyone's trying to divide us.

I'm deeply disappointed in the Dems. They let me down, too.

Judge each man on their own action!!

I have been an active poster on the forum for years and am constantly dismayed by the down right hatred of conservative leaning foke. We need everyone we can get in this movement and unlike one poster said, according to poling about 32 percent of conservatives support us. Many conservatives are libertarian and for drug legalization. The marijuana community is liberal. Online forums are liberal. Extraverts are liberal. So every time anyone of any conservative nature tries to join our group they are called names, their intelligence is insulted, they are strung up, tared, and feathered. Conservatives make up 40% of our population and liberals only 21% according to a gallop pole. If anyone thinks medical marijuana is going to stay around with only 21% on our side they are crazy. Many liberals do not even support marijuana, so it is not even 21%.

It is tiring that such a large part of our posting population spends most of their time bashing this group or that. Is this a left wing fringe site? Or is a medical marijuana site? Do we only support left wing fringe liberals with cancer? "Screw off Righty, go find your own relief from your cancer, we have no need for you, go die you heartless piece of work, the world will be better off with out ya!"

We stopped and or banned the few right wing posters we had. Remember Dakine? We at one point even stopped all non-medical marijuana posting because of all the political crap people were posting.

I try to ignore it, but am starting to feel as I am part of a fringe left wing ideology group, which in my opinion means danger. I have no desire to be part of any radical fringe group. I know I am not alone in this opinion, but those who do not fall in line are flamed, tared and feathered. Not sure if I am just grumpy today, or ready to move on(quit cheering), but I need to vent. Every person is due their opinion, and this is nothing more than mine.

Crap, I guess the title was correct. Should of just skipped this post and the rest of the stereotype hate mongering.

Unity stands. Except and welcome all the suffering regardless of their ideology. Remove and call out politicians that do not support us regardless of their political affiliation. This is MY dream.
